But then sharing a link that doesn't prove their claim means you all can read.
Let's have a round of applause for that logic.....

But while I'm sitting here saying that cause it upsets me I'm also going to take the hypocrisy and bias further. I'll do that by comparing the iPhone to the gaming phone while saying you can't do it. So I can claim some random made up fact about iPhone being superior for normal usage.
You don't have to be a heavy gamer or gamer at all to experience throttle. Nor would you notice a huge difference in normal tasks. But one area you will notice a difference is the extended battery life of those gaming devices.

It's about maintaining the color gamut while switching refresh rates or keeping black crush in control at low brightness. Every high refresh rate panel have this issue at different brightness levels.

True, nobody can match apple's soc power, also all mobile gamers and streamers use iphone Only.
Mysekf Not an isheep though and never owned an iphone.
AnonD-894375, 27 May 2020Unless the GPU and CPU is separate in mobile chipset, your argument still doesn't stand. Not only does that not make any sense or hold any ground... there was zero reason for it. I just made a simple factual point. You apparently are looking to argue something. More than likely having something against mali.

If you really think anandtech is biased, show me a detailed comparison of this site vs. that site.
Android Master, 27 May 2020SD865 can barely match the graphic performance of A12 from 2018? What are you smoking pal? snapdragon 865 is equally on par with a13. But that still makes apple superior because qualcomm takes 5 months to release the same chipset.
We cannot compare a gaming phone to an iPhone. iPhones have better day-to-day performance, but those gaming phones have cooling systems.
Android Master, 27 May 2020Those views weren't subjective, they were simply facts. Besides, IPad wasn't the first to ... moreiPad was the first mobile device to actually get 120hz. Or one of the first. Get your facts right, pal.

Besides, IPad wasn't the first to ... moreWell views are inherently subjective.
I have rarely seen anyone complain about gaming performance on an iphone. Same for network performance. Gaming phones do have fast switching between networks and hence better network performance than other phones including flagships.
As far as multitasking is concerned, it is completely garbage on iphones but apps and games don't reload all the time.
And yes there were TVs, monitor and laptops with 120 Hz and higher before ipad but ipad was the first arm-based device to feature high refresh rate.

Impressive, Moore's law is still rocking. When will it slow down? Most improvements seems to be due to the better process node.
Wish to see this core on stb or at least on sbc

OP8 pro/Find X2 pro sporting the same display has the most color accurate display on the market.
Besides certain display issues only plagued OnePlus 8 pro devices not the Find X2 pro. Those issues have been subsequently fixed with updates. Any other issue is already down to a bad batch which happens with every smartphones.

Its well established that the 990 heat up, drain battery and throttle like crazy. If you fail to see that, I don't see how you should even read reviews...
X1 is more likely to power some portable consoles and Windows ARM machines.
I doubt any manufacturer would produce an SoC just for tablets with X1, but 2 in 1 and ultrabooks will love that 8MB L3 cache on the X1.
A78 and G78 will bring 20% improvement in performance but most importantly much more power efficient and reduced die size too!
Next set of Exynos and Kirin chips coming this year might use A78 and G78 on 5nm.
Although, even if still A77 on 5nm should reach 3GHz no probs.
Android Master, 27 May 2020Is that the reason why Apple chips throttle after continuous gaming?
Is that why network pe... moreWell most of your claims are subjective but as far as chip is concerned, Apple was the first to put 120Hz display. Although that was an ipad pro with modified chip, that chip is now 4 generations old. Ipad pro also has resolution higher than QHD. Battery life wasn't affected either.
We might have a 120Hz iphone this year so let's see. Color accuracy is a concern on higher refresh rates and high resolution. We didn't see any problems in lcd screen(Razer phone apart from brightness) but oleds are giving problems. Only OP8 pro currently gives 120 Hz at QHD and it has multitude of screen related problems.
Anyway, this article is regarding SOC performance so as I said earlier iPhone is limited on other fronts but the SOC is extremely capable. I am waiting for WWDC to see iOS 14 as most of these limitations are software driven.
