Whatever reaches top 10 will never reach my pocket ;) Wish more people would act like this and not reach for the mainstream.

Ronak, 27 May 2020Can anyone see any flagship killer smartphone because I can't see any of the oneBut, does flagship killers exist anymore?
I mean, is either flagship specs but also with flagship price or mid-range price, but with mid-range specs.
I could think of the Realme X2 Pro from late 2019. You can get one for about 450EUR this days. Or the Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro from this year, but this will cost around 700EUR. So not really cheap.
Sadly, the market is changing. Now, the real "flagship killers" are actually the mid-range phones, but with compromises.

Anonymous, 27 May 2020Well done Xiaomi now aim for top, but I am afraid Redmi Note 9 is underwhelming :(I am afraid it is not the same situation like last years. Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 8 series were good and they each brought something new to the current market. Very good specs at very affordable prices.
Redmi Note 9 series is more or less the same (with minor improvements each and there), but cost more than last years Redmi Note series.
I wanted to wait until June to get a Redmi Note 9 Pro, but decided to buy the Redmi Note 8 Pro instead with less money. Also, is a little more powerful with the Helio G90T.
The only improvement I saw was the battery of 5000mAh. Not worth the extra 100EUR.

People who had bought S10 series or Note 10 series last year didn't want to update. And people with older generation S/Note series phones, decided to wait another year or at least 6 months for Note 20.
I think with Samsung is always like this. Once per 2 years their current S series phone doesn't sell so good. It was the same case scenario with S8 and S9.

Iphones have always been selling well, however only a single Samsung flagship in the top 10 and so low is a new tale.

Want a good phone? Don't buy the phone from your carrier... Buy the Sim deal... Only... Buy the phone online. Get the best for you... Don't buy from carriers... Unless you want an iPhone or a 2018 model.
