Where's a high quality USB-C + 3.5mm jack adapter that works flawlessly?

If you ever have a chance try google's adapter. Your options are going to be limited if you want a high end phone with a 3.5 jack. I do think the phone also makes a difference, but the Essential was supposed to be high end.

Vote with your wallet people: just say no.
And still not having 3.5mm port. And on a device like this the already bogus space or battery claim that was at best a laughable excuse with normal sized phones is thrown out the window.
Devices of this size just prove they are removing the jack for their own benefit and to force people into paying extra for their bluetooth offerings. At zero benefit to us. And it helps them charge us more in repairs because people who use adapters will on average wear their charge ports out quicker.
And there is definitely a noticeable difference when using the adapter vs the 3.5mm built in port. Even when using a high res adapter. Despite the claims of otherwise. I noticed the sound being cleaner almost instantly upon my first comparison. And I don't have an audiophiles ear.
