Htc don't need to go apple's way of non removable battery and non expandable memory.just keep it simple.gud build quality doesn't always mean unibody design.u can have removable battery cover and still have gud build quality like some of the xperia phones.
Stranger, 06 Jun 2012HTC is one amazing company that came up with brilliant phone. They were the ones who introduce... morePrecisely! You can't understand, maybe it's the same with HTC and that's why they are going down!
haahahhaa now microsoft has dumped them with W8 theyre going downhill, who says Nokia is dead.
and for the price, actually it does not matter much for the high end devices, stupid people purchase iphone even they are overpriced and has less power compared to others. probably they are still under the spell of apple with the thinking of if you use their product, you are different. like their ads before. but not all people are dumb so not all people go for iphone. for HTC compared to samsung, it is ok to spend more as long as i get the best or better than my previos choice..like S3 over one x. and everyone knows S3 is better than one x on paper and in performance..i just hope HTC learns because i really like their UI, if only their phone can out perform samsung's phones...
i also like the built quality of the phones of HTC compared to samsung...forgot to mention that on my last post
problem with HTC is they are always behind of samsung in terms of performance with their phones. like sensation to S2 and now onex to S3. they have a very good UI but ofcourse you will think twice before you purchase their device if you know that samsung's device has better performance. and if you are spending good money on something, you always want the best. i liked my sensation when i got it but i loved my S2 when i switched phones. if only htc can get the specs of samsung in their phones and screens as well with the sense UI, then i will be an HTC fan for life..
Htc isn't recognised with a gud series of droids like xperia for sony and galaxy for samsung.they just had lots of handsets with rather bizzare name in 2011 and they've tried to change that with the one series but still not much success.i think if ur struggling in the market, rather than competing in high end segment u should focus more on midrange devices coz they are the phones for the masses.
The phone is old fashion, old design no new elements input and selling with high price so people stop buy HTC, this is the reason why HTC lower Q2 expectations so don't blame the US and EU sales liao.....
My advise to HTC, is , "try to concentrate on manufacturing fewer models, with vey high capacity batteries".
imo..htc still tries to sell "exclusive overpriced phones" and tries to imitate apple..but android is a platform used by many brands and samsung/sony/lg/etc. have better price points for value..
they have Good software especially the sense system but they have the worst design and feature so far oneX is good
No Htc next time, didnt expect it from a leading manufacturer of smartphones. Force closing, unnatural restarting, poor batery life as well as wifi signal. Its not my htc Sensation, it now a matter of my frustration, totally suckz....
Maybe when they recover from this they will start listening to customers. Micro sd slot, removable and longer lasting battery. This 'slim smartphone' bandwagon is sure going to take down a lot of manufacturers lmfao
blaager, 07 Jun 2012unfortunately this is right across the board with other OEM's because people are so materialis... moreYou're right about test driving a product, I was not impressed with HTC's units. They don't have what I need, just like in Apple. To each his own, dude.
unfortunately this is right across the board with other OEM's because people are so materialistic, only wanting a hot sounding brand which is bullsh!t i think, Samsung & Apple have both brainwashed people with their clever marketing campaigns. If really people should test drive their handsets before being brainwashed into handsets that they either dont need or isnt good enough!
there are reasons why i didn't even consider HTC phones when i'm going to buy new android smartphone.
most HTC phones do not support this.
- 3G video call.
- microSD card slot.
- removable battery.
- good price / performance.
3G video call is on the top of my list, cause i use it quite often.
nowadays there are only handful of smartphones that support 3G video call.
and it mostly from Samsung and LG.
so my options were limited to those two Korean manufacturers when i was looking to buy a new smartphones.
now, if only HTC made a phone with 3G video call feature, i might consider it...
What etc need to do to own every one again is make a phone that has the same features as the so but add 3d features to it like they did with the evo 3D
But I thought android was the "be all and end all" of the tech world ??? Perhaps now you halfwits can understand why Nokia didn't partner with google.
i was first enthusiastic with the One series but honestly, i don't see why i would go for them. the S3 easily trumps the One X. also the 6 month old Nexus is a better deal than the 4.3 qhd One S. i would put my money on the One XL (a One X rocking an S4 processor) but it's not in the market yet. besides, Samsung phones are usually cheaper than HTC, and much more reliable (One S is an exceptionally reliable) which is what the average consumer looks for. i hope this company saves itself from self destructive policies.
