Vivo has a real winner in its hands. Vivo X50 series is inspired by and designed to compete against Honor 30 Series, and it has succeeded beyond expectation.

- After P40 Series, X50 series is the only one that delivers an impactful new technology, the gimbal-style stabilizer, for 2020 smartphones.

- With its rich feature set and aggressive pricing, this three-model series is an able challenger to Honor 30 Series in its domestic market. (I see a high level of parallel between X50 series and Honor 30 series, including pricing. I honestly did not expect any phone-maker would succeed so soon.)

- Vivo X50Pro+ is the most potent SD865 based smartphone released so far. With its attractive design, all encompassing feature set and aggressive pricing, X50Pro+ practically makes all other 865 based phones unsellable.

- The 2020 Vivo evolution doesn't stop with X50 series, which is merely a "Technology Dress Rehearsal" for its true flagship. With further optimization and refinement, the best of these technologies will be incorporated into the forthcoming Vivo NEX series, along with an additional array of significant new technologies, and the debut of the brand new Vivo OS.

Anonymous, 01 Jun 2020The GN1 sensor is better than the 108mp HM1/HMX sensors------>Change my mind! Objectively it's better , let's see the results, now waiting for SONY similarly with Low MP and lesser pixel binning and bigger aperture and larger Pixel size and sensor size

I have used vivo v3 max I must say these phones are good value for money but don't expect flagship grade experience like Samsung or Apple as these bbk group companies smartly hide features they don't provide and after buying user regrets his decision if he is expecting premium experience say screen may be average cameras are good on paper only lackluster audio but still if you are in tight budget and can compromise with few features these phones are not bad but not excellent either

I'll wait x50 pro + comes to Indonesian for sure. I hope vivo marketing will read this and do agree. Considering the fact now vivo is number one selling in Indonesian. :)

abysswag, 01 Jun 2020Pricing is reasonable, if they add just 100 bucks for EU pricing it will be a competitive phoneI think only Russia gets vivo phones out of Asia.
And if they decide to sell in Western Europe, EU has taxes that can be up to 25%.

skobb, 01 Jun 2020They went out of their way to mention sensor size on the GN1 but not the IMX598. I'm guessing ... moreIMX598 isnt bad. 1/2" sensor. Probably updated version 9f imx586

I wish they would make a completely Chinese free GLOBAL version of their software, it would make buying their phones an easy choice because they are great, but the Chinese bloatware is painful.

All 3 are good phones. Personally, the vanilla X50 suits me. It's stylish but free of fancy features.

KebabSLO, 01 Jun 2020I hope it comes to Europe.Even if it does come to Europe, it will be 20-30% more expensive. At that price, you can get much better phones.

However, that blue colour on the vanilla X50, with those slight yellow-ish tints, looks extraordinary.

So you have to choose between the best sensor (pro+) and the best OIS (pro)? Also has anyone seen good shots of the top and bottom to see if any of them still have 3.5mm jacks?
