Redmi 10X is competitive, and not getting crushed, but its success is not assured even with its aggressive pricing: Redmi 10X (6/64GB, 1600CNY) vs Honor X10 (6/64GB, 1900CNY). It is still difficult for Redmi (with Dimensity 820) to tackle the combined reputation of Honor and Kirin820. Put it differently, for two otherwise identical phones, powered by D820 and Kirin820 respectively, the majority of the buyers will choose kirin820 powered phone.
On the other hand, Realme is yet to earn its place to play in this high-stakes game for the all-important emerging 5G ecosystem. So don't expect Realme to offer anything similar to Redmi 10X anytime soon.

Redmi 10X is specifically created to compete against Honor X10 in Xiaomi's domestic 5G market. It is intended to be the 1st 5G phone for a new 5G user in an emerging 5G market. The current pricing (probably under the cost) is forced upon by its peer competitor. It makes no sense for Xiaomi to sell this phone in any other market, especially at this price. (Besides, the supply of Dimensity 820 is very limited.)

if you plan on buying a device at the 450 euro range, realme is just the best.
