Does the Redmi 10X 5G have Google installed? I've been told that some phones manufactured in China, don't and for banking security, Google is vital for me.
I guess people have accepted the power of MediaTek Dimensity 820 chipset and this smartphone could be a great seller in India too.
Not surprised, Redmi 10x is pretty solid and one of the affordable 5G options at the moment. Dimensity 820 coming through with its power.
Redmi 10X is competitive, and not getting crushed, but its success is not assured even with its aggressive pricing: Redmi 10X (6/64GB, 1600CNY) vs Honor X10 (6/64GB, 1900CNY). It is still difficult for Redmi (with Dimensity 820) to tackle the combined reputation of Honor and Kirin820. Put it differently, for two otherwise identical phones, powered by D820 and Kirin820 respectively, the majority of the buyers will choose kirin820 powered phone.
On the other hand, Realme is yet to earn its place to play in this high-stakes game for the all-important emerging 5G ecosystem. So don't expect Realme to offer anything similar to Redmi 10X anytime soon.
Redmi 10X is specifically created to compete against Honor X10 in Xiaomi's domestic 5G market. It is intended to be the 1st 5G phone for a new 5G user in an emerging 5G market. The current pricing (probably under the cost) is forced upon by its peer competitor. It makes no sense for Xiaomi to sell this phone in any other market, especially at this price. (Besides, the supply of Dimensity 820 is very limited.)
Anonymous, 02 Jun 2020It's obviously coz of covd19. Same story for OnePlus. Why don't they launch in India and China simultaneously. India is a big bazaar for Chinese goods. People eagerly waits for their mobiles.
Nakeyjakey, 02 Jun 2020India is their biggest market yet they delay product launch. MfCuz they know that Indians will buy their like in seconds.. so they better manufacture in more quantities before sale in india

Redmi 10X is specifically created to compete against Honor X10 in Xiaomi's domestic 5G market. Redmi will not be made available outside that market, definitely not at that pricing.
