CPU from 2019 that is weaker than SD855.
    No Gapps.

    3,8 is more than fair.

Watch the news here on gsmarena "Counterpoint: COVID-19 affects Q1 smartphone sales in Europe"

Huawei fell from 23% market share to 16% market share. That's the biggest hit and apart from Samsung that fell only 2%, every other brand got more market share. Huawei is being highly affect by the ban. This P40 device is gonna be a fail worldwide (except China).

Anon, 03 Jun 202099% flagship phones don't have headphone jack my friend, it's a stupid complaint that you just madeA stupid complaint is to believe that this "flagship" (overpriced crap, it's better to say) can ask those price tag, only for the fancy cameras, and the "Huawei" brand. A stupid complaint is to get satisfied without claim more to Huawei for the money tha are you wasting on it! A more stupid complaint is not recognize the weak points, only for defend the stupid trend on your favorite brand because "99% flagship phones don't have headphone jack". Look at those big ugly pill on your beatiful screen for a fancy "Face Id!.
More stupid complaints to mention, my friend?

Gsmarena, could you show us some 23mm sample images in pixel binning mode? 23mm should be available at approximately 0.85x
                    I haven't found a website with 23mm sample images.

Is it possible to shoot in raw with the 240mm camera? What is the maximum exposure time in manual mode?

There is too narrow gap between main (23mm) and wide angle (18mm) cameras focal lenghts. It's only 5 mm. Main camera should be 26-28mm FL or wide angle should be converted to super wide angle 14mm at least.

To be precise: largest sensor is Panasonic CM1.

Btw, Nokia 808 providing a bit more detail than shiny new P40 Pro. 808 is a king. Again.

Russia search to prohibit GMS and also to create is OS, and Huawei works in Russia to test. You talk for yourself, not need GMS who spies me.

of the year and see where Huawei sales are gonna be.
Huawei was already the nr 2 in the world. With this, they're gonna fall for sure.

"Huawei expects sales of roughly 190 million smartphones in 2020, versus just over 240 million in 2019." It's falling hard already. You gonna see i was right.

"Gartner Says Global Smartphone Sales Declined 20% in First Quarter of 2020" Huawei -27.3% sales Decline. It was the biggest decline of all brands. Their marketshare fell to 14.2% and Apple 13.7% is gonna pass in the next months. Xiaomi is closing in too.

Most people that bought Huawei phones are not buying anymore because of lack of Google apps and services. And that's a fact no matter you try to deny it. It's the reality. Unless they reach an agreement with Trump, yes it's a fail.

For the person mentioning China is big and strong market yes it is but Huawei aims to expand in the World. They can't afford being only in China. Don't forget that Huawei biz is more than phones.

Anonymous, 03 Jun 2020Your concerns are noted. There are two things you can do 1) hack the phone to install GMS or ... more1) Yes of course you can do it. I know how to do it. The problem is not "us", we are informed and geeks. The average buyer doesn't know how to do it and it's not interested in sideload, tricks etc they just want to use the phone. And that's the majority of people. We seem to forget that we are the minority.

                                    2) Again, the average person who buys an Android is gonna use most of those apps. Most people i know use google drive and has everything in sync with google, chrome history, gmail, maps etc it's an ecosystem and people use it all together. You can't do with with Huawei phones now...

                                      That's why I don't buy a flagship phone.
A headphone jack is also a sure way to mute your phone without fumbling through a heap of settings.
