Helio A22 is very much like SD410, shitty PoS.
I bet my ass u'll be seriously pissed with the performance as u'll encounter lag fest from day 1.

This phone is almost-certainly the Worldwide version of the "Nokia C2" "Tennen" & "Tava" which are A22-utilising entry phones locked on the carrier "Cricket" for the USA market. I am certain that all specs will be identical.
With Bluetooth 5.0 and Galileo GNSS (no WiFi6) and NO NOTCH/PUNCHHOLE I am interested in buying this phone as a backup.

Anonymous, 05 Jun 2020Why they started naming the phones, besides the numbers, with incomprehensible names..Marketing purposes. Like when LG named its phone „Chocolate“ and people with less experience about a phone's performance were impressed.

Though, Nokia's names are a bit… uninspired, to put it mildly.

Anonymous, 04 Jun 2020Title literally says "Entry-level" so...It's already June 2020 and nothing from Nokia. Ok show me HMD-Nokia phone with SD 855? Or SD 865? Where are they? Short answer: nowhere.

Had a decent experience with 2GB RAM on 7, 8.1 and 9 (full Android) but split-screen can take its time. 3GB RAM should be the recommended minimum for Pie and newer.

The... moreWhile you're not entirely wrong, not totally right either. It looks like Samsung would disagree with your assessment, seeing as how they're still expanding their A, M and J series. AND seemingly that confident at not pricing those competitively enough against the usual Chinese suspects.

You could also look at A LOT of unheard of China own OEMs aggressively fighting in their own turf with mostly entry level and midrange phones.

Clearly there's more than enough volume space in those segments.

In this aspect OEMs are not the problem. Google is. They seriously need to either re-engineer the code base or cut the their crap about the recommended specs.

Also omnivision has some good sensors for photo.

The real profits are from flagship customers, not that midrange/entry level dump. If HMD Nokia wants to gain profits, they should make SD865 flagships.

Nokia can never become relevant again buy not releasing a proper flagship. These entry/mid rangers are barely anything to talk home about.

Funny how they have to use Geekbench 4 just to have much higher points.

Being a Nokia fan, I feel Nokia is still not realizing the market value or requirements, and forget about actual release of their mobiles with success, in most cases they are only at announcements which are direct disappointment to continuous failures.
