ypcx, 04 Jun 2020the first gen was breaking, the second gen was creaking, the third gen i didn't try, the fourt... moreur right its creaking...but now after having them for over 2.5 years...i dont think they do...the creaking sound was coming from the hinges where the cups were swiveling...but after using them over a few months...they kind of stopped making that sound. everything is great about xm2 except that the cups could be a bit bigger and comfortable ...there is plastic protrusion in between the drivers that touches my ears and they hurt

Sony and ATH characters tend to bright which is not my taste. However they offers some stellar level of details and conforts.

Sony should have offered them (Or at ridiculous low price) with Xperia 1 II. At 1 199 EUR THAT would be a good offer and compete with other brands possibly converting user from another brands > Jackpot with few ads and marketing involved.

Love the Community, 04 Jun 2020I hope it comes with Bluetooth 5.2 and it's low latency codecs and features.The XM3's use BT4.2 so it's definitely long overdue for BT5.0 at least. BT5.1/2 doesn't add anything in terms of BT quality. The only feature BT5.1 has over BT5.0 is accurate location tracking and I'd doubt you'd loose these thiccc boiiis

No creaking for me. Third gen is better and more comfortable but it has touch controls problems. Yes, with firmware update they put switch to disable touch controls, but that is not real fix. I hope that there won't be any problems with fourth gen.

NiJon, 04 Jun 2020If they still lack multipoint bluetooth like the xm3, they're not worth it. It has multi device connection but you loose LDAC so that's useless to me since the whole point of these is high bandwidth wireless.
