Xiaomi patents folding phone that looks a lot like the Huawei Mate X Comments

Well Xiaomi has a history of patenting tons of stuff they end up not making, so I wouldn't worry about it... But if Xiaomi decides to make a folding phone, I'm keeping my fingers crossed it's actually the 'flip phone' style, these 'folding tablets' are pretty stupid (especially this one with screen on the outside - you don't have to be a genius mathematician to figure out that plastic display plus constant exposure to dust and dirt in pocket equeals disaster... The atlernative is carrying it in a bag, but then why do you need a folding tablet in a first place?)

Xiaomi hasn't own ideas, only mix alpha was something new, I can remember only it

I'm not interested in foldable phones at all. But Xiaomi is doing really great. Great phones in different price ranges. Mid range ones are already enough for everyday usage unless you are heavy gamer. Xiaomi phones are worth every penny.
