It has its pros and cons. Sony choose longevity (years) over saving 10-30min from charging.
Sony used to manufacture lithium batteries. They know how it works.
I used a professional 50watt lipo charger on an expensive high performance Li-po batery (2 cell balanced). I have seen the degradation. Wasted my money by halving its lifespan.
Companies make money replacing batteries. Or they make you want to buy a new phone sooner. Average consumers need to research more.

Yes Amazon is filled with queries about the Bluetooth headphones. The response from the Sony rep was they were not.
I ordered from Best Buy but don't think they will include them either. Not a big thing as one of the reasons I was purchasing the phone was for the headphone jack

Hey.. cut some slack. It's coz of the whole corona thing. You have apple delaying their launch completely by months and that's completely fine. But when Sony screws up little you have to thrash them down. Atleast sony is not completely made in china like samsung or apple or the 100s of Chinese companies.

Sony already in the phase where Xperia 5 II (Mark 2) is nearing to its scheduling step for production, and judging by Sony Xperia past product development where it took 1 year from start to finish, they could already planning or routing step for Xperia 1 III (Mark 3) on the line.

Not everyone still can spend money on electronics during this crazy time.
Q3 = 600.000
Q4 = 1.300.000
Before the virus, last quarter was more than 2x than previous.
