At the end of the day every system has advantage and disadvantages, example, PS 4 and xbox one has great implementation of hdr visuals, but on pc format, it's flaky and inconsistent with free titles on pc support it, on the other hand, pc support 21:9 and 32:9 ratio, even switch has advantages due to unique hybrid home and portable format

Real.Talk, 09 Jun 2020" Optimizations are horrific on PC, a low speed Console trounces the highly specced PC all day... moreGenerally longevity on consoles outlast pc technology, example, I own ps one with LCD screen, snes, pc engine, ps 2 slim and psp, all work fine even though some of these products are over 20 years old, pc engine and Super Famicom are almost 30 years old ,by comparison, do you seen anyone play window 95 games anymore, popularity includes 4
Million snes and nes mini sold since 2016 (megadrive mini and pc engine mini released last and this year), but do you see any Windows 95 re releases of new hardware

Before you spew out nonsense, remember that all games are coded ( created ) on PC's before being ported to proprietary devices like consoles.

Oh and by the way, a highly kitted out PC will last ages while your consoles' insufficient cooling and not even bronze efficiency rated power supply will crap out within the 1 year warranty period lol.

Oh yeah... I definitely see a PS5 edging out that $4000 PC in workstation tasks like rendering videos, mining bitcoins and even gaming all at once without a sweat haha

i also presume the person who wrote this article is either does not have much technology awareness or misquoted the announcement, on youtube it more than like be stereo 4k and hdr, if on their own playstation 4 app running on ps4, it will be more than likely dolby digital true hd which supports multi channel sound as well high res. audio 24bit and up to 192khtz (unlikely though as all ps4 games used 48khtz sampling rate), so you don't need headphones, more than likely if you have full home cinema equipment especially the ones compatibity dolby digital true HD or DTS master HD

yes, 4k and hdr, pretty much standard for playstation and xbox announcments or trailers
