moreover, device powered by SD845 is more rational to buy (at that price tag) than SD765 in everything, except 5G.
TBH, SD765/ 765G/ 768/ 768G is over-hyped crap SoC; if u understand Cortex hierarchy, SD76x series is no more than "SD675 in steroids", so unless u r MEGA RICH, u better buy phone with flagship SoC, as the "core" of an Android phone is the SoC (followed by RAM capacity & UFS type).
That's the reason why the over-hyped upcoming Nokia 8.3 was mocked by many people here as overpriced crap.

when chinese companies, even samsung, are putting the 855, LG chooses the 845 and only 20% cheaper than the midrange 765

LG should have at least equipped this Velvet 4G with Snapdragon 855 and should have priced it under $500.. then it could have been a winner.. it’s going to be already outdated when it is released..

Lg has totally lost it. Launching half products with no strategy whatsoever. So launching a phone with a two year old CPU and charging 500€ for it was someone's great idea.
Lg is a disgrace and maybe it's time to shut down mobile division, because it's obviously run by total amateurs.
