Anonymous, 11 Jun 2020Everyone knows iOS is garbage. That slot of rubbish, I've owned an iPad before and currently own an iPhone 11 Pro, you will not find the same level of software optimization in android as you can in iOS, Period!
AlienKiss, 11 Jun 2020I used to think that also. Until I've bought a super amoled high-end phone from Samsung. Now, ... moreIt comes down to individual preference and expectation, do remember it's still only a mobile phone, something that is left in a pocket the fair bit of the time and something only fewer will care about.
For all the critics of LCD panels Apple iPhone 11 with an LCD panel with 320ppi that phone was the best selling handset in the Q1 this year.
I am very surprised Samsung would even consider trying out another AMOLED panel makers product, it's almost as if there wondering if there products are any good anymore.
Of course perhaps it comes down to cost but that begs the question why a massive and successful leader in OLED displays like Samsung cant provide quality displays at a cost equal to BOE, BOE will obviously need to add on profit margins per unit sold set Samsung makes it's own and cant even match the per unit cost? Odd

Anonymous, 10 Jun 2020Fugly oleds with zero calibration. IPS above oled.I used to think that also. Until I've bought a super amoled high-end phone from Samsung. Now, when I look at IPS displays, they look antique and extremely bad.
Don't judge before you try. That's my newest motto.
Anonymous, 11 Jun 2020if they r the best and monopoly, why still engage others? So that can bash for the sake of bashingSamsung electronics actually has to buy their displays from Samsung display and at full price. So if they are in talks with BOE about buying displays from them there is a good chance that Samsung Display might be ready to negotiate a lower price.
ypcx, 11 Jun 2020No, you are wrong. A regular Exynos user would wonder why the phone drains the battery so fast... moreany "Exynos" phone that has that kind of power drain and loses 20% overnight, definitely has nothing to do with the chipset, but rather all the crappy apps people have running on their phones in the background.
I have been rocking Exynos powered Samsung S and Note devices since the S2 days, and usually powerdrain is no more than 3 - 7% overnight. Wifi on or off.
the problem really doesn't seems to be with the Exynos chipset, but rather with the person's habits.

1) Galaxy Fold scenario, where they recalled the device, relaunched it and turned into the best foldable on the market.
2) Their TouchWiz Ui was the worst.
Now One Ui 2.1 is improved tremendously and she'd behind all the problems associated with Samsung Ui in the past.
3) Exynos 990 was subpar compared to its Snapdragon counterpart.
Now Samsung comes back in the Same year with Exynos 992 based on 6nm technology.
Single core performance over 1000.
Multi core performance above 3500.
20% more efficient.
25% better gfx.
4) Their marketshare in budget and midrange segment was getting slowly eaten away by Chinese brands.
Immediately They launch M2x and A5x series which is pulling great numbers in terms of sales.
Samsung is the only company that can come back consistently.

A regular Exynos user would wonder why the phone drains the battery so fast to become almost unusable on days when the phone is more heavy used. And why it loses 20%+ of battery "sleeping" at night. Stop defending the indefensible.
Anonymous, 10 Jun 2020Nope, you are wrong. A regular user wouldn't even be able find any difference Exynos and Snapd... moreHave you not seen any videos on YouTube talking about the MASSIVE difference between the Exynos 990 and Snapdragon 865 chips in the s20?! The Exynos shows incredible battery loss (losing a few hours of life) compared to the Snapdragon model, the display still goes quote bright on both phones but the Exynos can't go just quite as bright as the Snapdragon, the camera processing ability also loses out massively for Exynos whereas Snapdragon can and does keep getting better and better with updates but the Exynos just continues to lack the ability to process the amazing camera quality. Anyone who doesn't know anything about phones wouldn't know the difference, but it's pretty plain to see. Everyone is saying that Samsung must either stop selling phones with the Exynos chip, or step up their game to compete with Snapdragon.
Anonymous, 10 Jun 2020Nope, you are wrong. A regular user wouldn't even be able find any difference Exynos and Snapd... moreLol... why would all reviews of ppl with Snapdragon versions talk about great image quality than Exynos...Snapdragon phones just pull of ahead, great performance in all things, battery, camera, gaming anything...the performance gap is too big & embarrassing.
Long back when you were seen holding the Galaxy S series... you'd get a little respect... nowadays it's a disgrace, laughing stock, a reminder of money wasted especially on S20 series Exynos, many customers returned phones...even Samsung shareholder criticized their executives for the Exynos fiasco...
As customers we deserve the best there is especially when spending anything above $1000, that's why Apple is successful with their iPhones...no compromised products in other markets, they're all equally the same no matter where you buy them. If next iPhone comes with 5G, mmmm that's gonna be a game changer...never though I'd consider iPhones but Samsung messed up big time and Apple products are becoming more attractive day by day...
When you see pictures, videos in low light or night time ppi is not good at all
