Quite surprising to end up with a troubled phone after the update. The phone was working fine and suddenly, the screen... Now its all green and hazy.
After the recent Android update, the phone also used to heat-up quite a bit.

Day before yesterday got an update. Bam. Screen went green with rapid flickering from 20 to 80 percent brightness. Samsung asked me to visit service center and cough up approx 15k for a screen replacement. We should take them to court. They are deliberately doing this to brick devices to loot more money either from repair or sales. After three flagships from them, i will now shift for sure. My iphone 5s from 2015 still works like a charm.

Only way to make it better is to have it a very low brightness or very high brightness level.

two days ago my phone/ note 9 was working ok. then this greenish screen nightmare begin. when I try to wake up the phone the discoloration happened. then I try to restart then all a sudden it turns completely yellowish green I cannot read any texts. several restart and I try to coll up the phone. the phone heats up for some unknow reasons. The temp fix is it reduce the brightness,ut still turn greenish when u wake up. always on display trick does not work entirely for me. GLOBAL Petition for Samsung HQ in Korea to rectify this issues. just like apple trying to reduce the speed of iPhone 6s.. all note 9 users should email samsung. and make them accountable for it.

My issue though is that when you are on a phone call it will go green and tapping your screen won't work. If you need to access the key pad while you are on your phone its an absolute mission

I have finally found a fix for the problem. It worked immediately. Here is what you have to do. The problem is related to software so DO NOT change your screen
1. Go to settings and turn on Always On Display. Select 'Home button and clock'. Also turn on 'Tap to show.
2. Now turn off your screen using the physical button on the side.
3. Tal your screen (while off). Your AOD will show up. Press the home button at the bottom to turn on the screen.
Voila. Your screen is no longer green. !

My Note 9 is suffering from that awful green tint as well. It happened this month. I don't see any solution or acknowledge from samsung. What a joke.

Same issue with my Note 9. Till yesterday night it was perfectly allright. Today morning all of a sudden this issue of green tinge with lines. I have gone to dark mode with different theme and I can see the screen for normal use. Video is horrible. No solution is visible till now. Any update please let me know.

I have one Note 10 + (about 14 months old) and One Note 9 (almost 2 yrs old).. Both Phones have same issue.. I contacted the Samsung Gulf via chat and i requested for the Escalation of this matter to Sr. Management.. After few days of waiting one guy called me from a landline number of UAE and he straight away denied to address this concern. He very bluntly said that your mobiles are out of warrantee.. so go to service centre and get the display changed at your cost.. I told me to further escalate to his Seniors and he said he is the Sr. Most guy and there is no one else to whom he can escalate.. I even told him to google and check that its a common issue .. he without checking anything said; No its NOT... because Google doesnt belong to Samsung.. Sounds like a crazy answer because he did not want to do any effort.. I m failing to understand a resolution ... and deeply regret that I bough such expansive gadgets . Never ever will i buy Samsung Phones again..
