skimminstones, 11 Jun 2020Id rather they introduced a system for timely updates to their phones firstA9 2020 and Reno2 user right here. Both updated to May Security Patch. So far so good. It is true that A9 still in stuck in Android 9, but Redmi Note 8 (non-pro) series are still in Pie so no complaints here

wbpwns, 11 Jun 2020Do these fast charging technologies deteriorate batteries in the long run (2 years and longer)... moreYes it do. But I think, it won't be problem. For me, I usually change smartphone not more than 1 year. So, for me, highest Watt charger is fine.

And I think some (most) poeple also shouldn't be complaint about this. When you still have a job, be owner of online shop, start up, etc, and you can afford to buy smartphone, not need to afford to buy high end smartphone / expensive phone, you can buy new smartphone with high capacity charger and forget about deteorite battery.

The pioneer in Fast charging technology takes it one step further.
Good to have Chinese brands on the market pushing the bar constantly.

Imagine a world with Brands like Crapple, We would have still been locked down to 3.5 inch screen size, 5W charging, single cameras.

Do these fast charging technologies deteriorate batteries in the long run (2 years and longer) faster than 10w charging?
