That's a big hmmmnope from me.NFC (Chinese) available on the Band4, so not a new technology for Xiaomi.
Hence the disappointment at the lack of International NFC on the Band 5.

Disappointing TBH, but am on a Band3, so will probably upgrade.
Assuming the bones of NFC are the same in China - is it a GPay/Apple agreement/licence that is stopping International NFC? Could this become available via a firmware change for the NFC version?

No gps, 11 Jun 2020Very poor coming from xiaomi. No gps on board and yet they dare say professional? Fitibit char... morePrice!!!!
They knew they cant competed with fitbit in term of accuracy & reliability.. what the point putting a gps and increased the price & loss the market share in the same time?
Plus, they already have amazfit to cover for them.

Halfthekgb, 11 Jun 2020I will definitely upgrade from my Mi Band 4I'm a happy Mi Band 4 (previously 3... what a great upgrade!) owner. I'm very curious to see size comparisons betweet 4 and 5, I'm eager to upgrade again, but if 5 is bigger I'm going to pass.
