That's a 2tb model, and considering Sony is coming out with an 865gb or so model, it doesn't necessarily add up. I wouldn't be surprised if it's $599.99 USD for the (about) 2tb model and $499.99 for the standard 865gb (estimate, forgot exact size).

In the United States there's no way you can even get 50% of your money back for a game you purchased if it was new and if it's used you usually only have 7 days before you have to return it

Not to mention you can ... moreThose games you spend 60 dollars on you can complete the game and take it back to a game trading shop and get back at least 90 percent of what u paid originally. Majority of games on PC are downloadable and you cant do that.
On top of that Sony do give 2-3 games free every month for PS Plus and when PS5 is out they be giving more .

I bought my Lenovo with i5 / 9th gen 8 cores - RTX 2060 6GB - 512GB Crucial SSD New, 15.6 inchi display IPS - 2 years warranty etc. with aprox 760 euro on black friday - It runs all games at extreme settings with RTX and no DLSS with good framerate. If i activate DLSS i have close to 60 fps at extreme settings. Have an X-box pubg controller paired. Can do almost anything on it, i have a VM with Ubuntu on it etc. So i'm all good. I may rent an ps5 to play the exclusives ( The last of us 2)

lf the PS5 launches at more then 600 dollars then im certainly out.
As will so many others. Cause above is right until i recently had to i still had my ps4 original and was fine with it.

Also Indian, and it's true, FTTH has become a lot cheaper here in recent years. Jio Gigafiber offers 100mbps with 400GB monthly FUP for about $11/month, which is very reasonable I'd say, even in India

I don't get how people get tricked into paying 50 euros a months for online and 60 euros for games for a year or two after release. These are exactly the reasons I had sold my PS4 and built a PC...

And yes itÂ’s unlimited, uncapped.. and ping is a little high at 15ms. But there is one option for gamers, which give 500mbit/sec with fast lane ping at 3ms for 2500.. or around 25eurp. These prices are in Kolkata, India.

Comparing a gaming device that has a sole purpose to play games, and that needs additional hardware like the TV at least, and a phone that can do basically everything is absurd, not that phone aren't already overpriced, 1000$ is beyond crasy, no phone in the market has a value of more than 700-800$, that includes marketing and R&D costs and some phones with special features or components.
Now in my opinion, a gaming device that is priced at more than 500$ makes no sense at all, not everyone is a hardcore gamer who needs the latest features, I know many people who are still going for the ps4, not the Pro, because they couldn't care less about Fhd or 4k, so many are still happy with they're ps4. I think Sony knows that, so they're following a strategy of highly pricing the ps5 at launch to cover R&D costs, knowing that those gamers who must play the latest games with the latest features, fans and enthusiasts are going to be the first to buy no matter how much it costs.
