Justy, 11 Jun 2012just 10 billion my friend...stock trading under $5 a share...Microsoft is worth over $200 bill... moreit's still worth billions.
Nokia is still selling....and milking millions in licensing from all mobile makers with their patents.
Can't stop laughing at Nokia fanboys. Still buttbad at this rumor and mindlessly reply to this?
Maybe deep in side of them know that is the reality. Nokia is falling down further more, no matter Samsung continues to keep its top spot or not.
Lol. It's funny when you can't actually reply to the topic and just resort to attacks. It shows you can't refute anything I said. This is what I said that caused you and your fellow fanboy to attack me:
? Nokia's shares had already lost a massive amount of value (I want to say 75% but not sure) in the four years before Elop came. Nokia's snail pace and insistence on Symbian had already sunk it. Meego was to late. Blame Elop all you want but Nokua was sinking long before he came. He just happens to be the guy giving the bitter medicine that Nokia needs. Why would Nokia go with Android? So they can continue to sink like Sony, Htc, LG and Moto?
Stay on topic and don't use useless insults this time. At least try to address Nokia this time and stop obsessing with me personally.

Android is free and open source OS. It is not something supplied by Google to Samsung. Even if a new company starts up tomorrow, they are free to use Android.
nokia will loose soon.
that's lucky for nokia that samsung buy it!!

Samsung buying over Nokia LMAO
Samsung itself is uncertain over their future as Google may pull their plug on supplying latest Android to Samsung anytime since now their main concertration is on Motorola, Samsung own BADAss as absulute crap, Tizen would took at least another 5 year to matured, We may see a short fame end for Samsung in another 2 years, & return of Motorola to the main scene.
Buy Nokia's R&D and product design depts instead. That's a way better idea than the whole lot lock stock and barrel.

Maybe Nokia should give up the ghost and sell! at least that weay maybe some of the people on that sinking ship can retain their jobs!

Besides, the amount of sales of Nokia smartphone strongly disagree with you. Nokia is a sinking ship and took a wrong step when they decided to focus on WP.
Nokia just gave away itself to M$. No future of their own.
I'm not a Samsung fan but the fact remains that they are now the world's largest phone manufacturer, they sell everything from $15 budget-phones to 5" phablets, both Android AND WP, and basically everything mobile under the sun.
Why would they want to buy a fallen star?
