It's always nice to have more options for something. If someone doesn't like a particular feature, it can be disabled (at least, it should be possible to disable it).

As for the gaming notifications, Samsung has something like that in OneUI 2, where you get a pop-up at the top of the screen, allowing you to accept or reject the call, while the game is still running. Having native support for that would be great, though. Perhaps this Bubbles mechanic will be further expanded upon by Google, until Android 11's release, to cover such scenarios.

Isn't it already available on Samsung Galaxies in the form of pop-ups?

KondriX, 13 Jun 2020Hmm, isn't Do Not Disturb mode doing what you are asking?Somewhat like that, except I still want to receive notifications about messages, calls and all that without actually getting in the way of what I'm doing.
Mainly it's about phone calls, where it normally exits from my current app to give huge emphasis on the incoming phone call. That one really sucks so bad, especially when playing games, when my friends can prank call me while I'm into the game. I'd like phone calls to be managed in a similar way to normal messages, where a short notification would appear at the top instead of taking me completely out of the current application I'm into.

            Really? People hate Chat heads?
To me it's a really convenient feature that allows me to be a good multitasker. The convenience of not having to leave the app I'm using to reply to someone or in a group chat quickly is so advantageous on my part.
Besides, it can simply be disabled when I really need to fully focus on a certain task that I'm doing, so having the option is really neat and appreciable.

What I want to have on Android OS itself is an anti-exit-from-an-app-because-of-incoming-call.
It really is frustrating when playing games but suddenly an a**ho** decides to call me while I'm competitively trying to play seriously. I know a lot of manufacturers are implementing this feature as a gaming enhancement tool, but I want it to be natively built into the core Android OS itself for much better integration to all apps on Android.

Bubbles are based and you are simply wrong if you think otherwise.
