TheAndroidFreak, 16 Jun 2020Pricing should be key. It should be below 600-650 dollars for top model. Otherwise its no go. to be honest you are not going to find a phone with THE STRONGEST CPU IN THE MARKET TO THIS DATE, 512 GB UFS 3.0 storage, 16 GB RAM, 144 Hz display coupled with a decent camera and a HUGE 5800 mAh battery for 600 dollars. The starting price of the phone can be 1000 dollars (128GB/12GB) and the top model can be 1200 dollars (512GB/16 GB) it is a bargain for what you get

This phone is defo on its way to be announced next month. In 3 weeks we've had, WiFi certification, geekbench score , passed EEC( which that alone confirms it's getting a global release) got leaked on TENNA, has a antutu score and even some renders. Asus aren't messing around with the ROG 3, however they're awfully quiet with the ZenFone 7 . Don't think anything been leaked for the ZenFone 7

The camera department is going to be an interesting one, we can already see that it's going to be a triple back setup. Is the 64mp sensor going to be a GW1 ( which people will complain about it being a Samsung sensor but can possibly bring the price down) or will it be the flagship Sony IMx686. The 2nd sensor will probably be a 13mp ultra wide and then the 3rd will probably be a pointless 5mp macro or 2mp depth. From the front we can already see it's a downgrade from the ROG2, that had 21mp this has 13mp

MagicMonkeyBoy, 16 Jun 2020Do you realise that the 865 is power effecient? Something between 25-35% more power effecient.... moreGames are only getting heavier, and if this really has 144hz thats gonna suck some extra battery too. And i believe the accessories like the fan doesnt have its own battery. Not to mention the external modem. The cpu efficency still makes it all even i guess.

TechLad, 16 Jun 2020Gotta be bit realistic with the pricing . Didn't the base model of the ROG 2 sell for £... moreThere might be a tencent version like the rog 2. That was a great deal.

MagicMonkeyBoy, 16 Jun 2020Black shark 3 Pro. 7.1 inch screen. Yeah I'm aware of that phone and I'm keeping an eye on it.

However, the ROG 3 phone will be more powerful, have a bigger battery and not quite as "gamer" in design as the Black Shark 3 Pro by comparison. Also, Xiaomi phones tend to have a higher than average amount of radiation eminating from their phones.

Pricing is the killer factor here, it should go beyond $700 given the specs. At this price range, it will sell like peanuts on the streets.

TheAndroidFreak, 16 Jun 2020Pricing should be key. It should be below 600-650 dollars for top model. Otherwise its no go. Gotta be bit realistic with the pricing . Didn't the base model of the ROG 2 sell for £800 . And this is a phone with a flagship 5G processor, still retained the ridiculous battery

Anonymous, 16 Jun 2020HTC U20 is going to be announced in few hours. We doesnt care as it is priced at 640 dollars for snapdragon 765G. Same chipset will be available under 400 dollars most probably in One Plus 8 Lite with better software support and camera for sure.

MagicMonkeyBoy, 16 Jun 2020Do you realise that the 865 is power effecient? Something between 25-35% more power effecient.... moreOh ok. I didn’t know it was more power efficient so that’s cool. And yeah, I agree, I’m a gamer too (using the OP 8 Pro, I don’t really like the way gaming phones look, so I want something cleaner and not massive) and I rarely use the camera. Although I do disagree with the red magic having good photos. Tested it out at a store and was disappointed. But I mean it’s alright for most usages.

Can't wait for this phone to shut up all the Lenovo legion fanboys. Asus gonna show u what a real gaming phone is, unlike the Legion which is a gaming phone and it has the same refresh rate as the realme6

I'm still a big fan of naturally downclocked systems for better stability and trouble free gaming...
I'm a 10x fan of smaller architectures for more performance and lesser heat and battery consumed.

I hope they retain the same audio quality though, gaming will get a boost for sure.

@GSMA Staff: Guys, it is written as 5.69 instead of 6.59 inch display.
