This was Apple's three-year plan; increase flagship prices to 1000$, drag all Android premium manufacturers up there with them, and undercut them heavily with the iPhone 12. It worked perfectly. Apple will launch two sub-800$ phones this year and scoop up marketshare like never before. Android manufacturers, especially Samsung, are about to hit a huge wall because of this. Prices will streamline further in 2021.

Given its possible price, whenever it comes out, it'll be a long while before a foldable becomes 'mainstream.'

Phones are getting so expensive to the point that makes you think the only target market are the rich people and the "rest" can do with mid-rangers. Those worthless middle-classers, the same people who book 3rd class flight tickets.
