Every week spending in swimming pool couple hours at one time. ... moreAnd in my experience i already saw several ruined smartwatches with IP68 rating, ingluding some from Samsung and their smartband too. So no, not enough protection for me. You can have luck with some unit but others fail with that rating. I prefer be more confident and have, at least, 5 Atm / Bar or 50 meters certification. And in a dedicated sport watch even more if available and i like it more than others.

that bezel looks considerably smaller then the previous gen, and with a bigger screen at 1.4" i really wish they would allow 3rd party hrm support as standard, i prefer the more accurate chest straps, and also the sensors struggle to see through my tattoos via the watch itself, making them very unreliable for certain users, being able to pair with a monitor would make a huger difference to many users i feel

Unless someone is professional diver but then there's special devices.

You, 17 Jun 2020Why are swimming with it on in the first place? Because he may want it to track its swimming sessions, as it's also an expensive sports watch? If Apple can add 5ATM protection, so should Samsung. Add that SpO2 sensor, too.

41mm isn't that big of a jump but at least also widen the lugs for a more proportional case. It looks dinky from what I assume is still 20mm. 22mm would've been better.

The larger phone is only 10% (4 mm) larger (45:41) but its screen diameter is 33% larger (1.6:1.2) 1.4:1.2 is about 16% difference, sounds more realistic.
