This is exactly what I mean. Minor issues, raised by minorities are blown out of proportion by the media.
This in turn is constantly celebrated by fandroids.
LOL no one cares for the shortcomings of Android OEMs as most of you are so focused on wanting to see Apple fail.

Apple had many awful iOS update during many years, breaking alot of things with them or not performing up to the standarts, please don't sugar coat Apple failures, where was many in recent times, especially with CPU throttles and so on. Apple is very far from perfect consumer friendly company, quite the opposite considering how much you jave to pay just for maintenance of Apple products and their services

As the best selling smartphone year after year of course they're under a lot of pressure to perform that any single drama by noisy minorities are covered by the media.
No one cared about Huawei faking their camera ads or them faking their numbers. It was barely news.
The exploding phones and multiple recalls of the note 7 also died down quickly, again not enough people cared. The note line has not and do not move the same numbers as the iPhone models every year, not even close. That's the reason why android dramas are barely even mentioned.
Yet you're stuck with these various gates? They're stuck in your head not because of the seriousness but due to media always blowing things out of proportion for anything Apple.
People like you clearly want to see the mighty fail. Must be sad to constantly be disappointed year after year.

I made a comment below describing it below. And about 90% of everything in that comment came straight from gsmarena articles.
And I even mentioned how sad it is there was no lawsuits.
And you probably haven't had an iphone for that long. Or you would know how terrible a time just getting new ios update can be.
Yeah all phones have had some update issues. But the sheer constant amount simply because they publicly release something less finalized most times is shameful.

Imagine pressing all those buttons just to touch a single area of the display. Or scrolling for like 3 seconds on a scroll wheel. With iPhones, all you had to do was touch. Which took like a millisecond worth of time.
