That tech was showcased like months ago, like before the Quarantine months ago. As a grammar nazi, a while means like a long time ago and this is not a long time ago. The problem is that this 240hz - 300hz is not available to the masses. Let's talk about masses, not super niche.
90hz - 144hz is what the mass used. Be glad that Apple caught up to have high refresh rate displays. Maybe this will pose as a challenge for Apple to make their games run 144fps with the self made GPU cores that they boasted for being more powerful than Snapdragon 8xx in Geekbench.

Photo Pro is not final version and they used.
Last year, they reviewed a unfinished 1, weeks before it went for sale.
At least so far the 4K did not show the green issue like Oppo, OnePlus, Samsung, Apple and now Motorola.

Video playback and web browsing will lose at least 2h compared to 60Hz.
Then people will complain it does not last, like done to samsung.
Ppl trade 15-20% more consumption just to scroll down faster. LOL ....

1 did 79h, no way this one scores only 80.

It’s a pity they ... moreThat is the reality here. Androids innovate but seen as gimmicks but when Apple adopts it, it becomes a global standard. They expect Apple to perfect what Android did first. Samsung made the Best OLED while Apple recalibrates their OLED to be better than what Samsung calibrated in the first place. Apple only perfects what's existing.
If only Apple eat their courageous words and codevelop Bluetooth and 3.5mm headphone jack in the same iPhone. Like c'mon, adding a Sabre DAC on the port will make your wired Beats headset sound way better than normal.

It’s a pity they do not buy these android so they sell badly especially in the premium sector.
It’s a good laugh watching them clutch at straws while we iPhone users enjoy the best ecosystem in the world not needing to comment on the endless fisher price toy droids that keep getting pushed out yet face low sales.
What I love the most is that an android feature is not really taken seriously until iPhone adopts it, goes to show how much power we iOS users still have.

They are using 120hz Oled panels from Samsung. they invented first intuitive software for a smartphone, of course.
They may have not been the first in the hardware, but they were the first in good software.
Back in the day, all the other smartphones weren't smooth and didn't have a intuitive software.

It better not have the green screen issue that the other 120hz phones have. I would rather get this feature when the tech is fully mature, but this being Apple I know we will get the best as usual. :)
