Anonymous, 19 Jun 2020I prefer intel all the way. Stable, reliable. AMD is full of headache and bugs. Incompatible s... moreYep, Intel is awesome.... side-channel attacks are the best, they are reliable and stable. It did save them a few gates and helped them maintain the lead at the expense of YOUR information security. BTW, there are 15 times more security vulnerabilities in Intel processors vs AMD... Including the ones discovered in 10th gen even before they were released.

Intel lost lawsuits for being anti-competitive and having practices that continue to this day to allow them to successfully price gouge businesses and consumers.

AMD has always been stable and reliable, they just didn't challenge Intel as a top performer (since early 2000's) until recently. But there's never been their sort of value for your dollar out of Intel. Why do you suppose Intel had to slash prices by 50%? Hint: it's not because they wanted to be nice to you. And furthermore, Intel fans should be pissed that they paid double for previous generations.

I'm not saying that Intel overall has a bad product, but they are a bit shady.

Educate yourself a little bit before making false claims.

HappyBerry, 18 Jun 2020Was thinking the same. If it looks like a refresh, it's more honest to market it as one. Never... moreAnd I'm excited for the laptop chips. Can't wait to replace my Intel H laptop with a Ryzen one on 7nm. I just need one with a good WCG display and an NVIDIA GPU (some of the stuff I use my laptop for don't have proper AMD GPU support sadly)

Adul Al Salami Kebab, 18 Jun 2020Well prices aint going down? :IGive it time? These aren't out for another month, and there is pent up demand for Ryzen CPUs now that B550 boards are becoming available. Expect a price drop closer to or after the actual XT releases, then again after Zen3 launches.

Adul Al Salami Kebab, 18 Jun 2020Well prices aint going down? :IMy guess is that with more popularity the used prices of amd cpus are also going to drop slower. So a little downside for budget users, but overall I'm glad for their recent success

Wow, that would have been a whole new "generation" for Intel. ... moreA cpu this days is not only speed....With this kind of comment you would probably get away between in the 2000 and 2008, but now with all the evolution a CPU this days, a new generation can have a lot of changes, like faster bigger cache, smaller architektur, better iGPU and oh so on.

A 100 to 200MHz speed increase? Wow, that would have been a whole new "generation" for Intel. Kudos to AMD for not pulling the same trick.
