True. I guess its more likely aimed to spot irregularities on healthy people and warn them, then to precisely measure and monitor someone with hypertensia.

Just an FYI, measuring BP at the wrist is still inaccurate which is why the arm cuff is the industry standard. The readings should be considered as estimations rather than something to rely on for those with Hypertension.
