Ipad only has one advantage over Samsung Tabs. That's the speed performance being faster especially for gaming. The rest of the ipads sucks. Ipads still have the same old screen resolutions compared to mid-range Samsung tabs. Ipad works out far more expensive if you buy the pen which flipping costs $200 and on top the keyboard costs over £400. Buying an ipad on its own is not worth it and even rip off when buying keyboard and pen. I'd say Samsung tab s7 will be excellent value for money. If it costs same as ipad Pro 2020. Speed and gaming will be as good as on ipad which is still faster on Benchmark. You won't be able to tell a difference comparing game performance on both these tablets. Samsung rips ipad in every other angle except benchmark speed. On another hand ipad performance speed makes a difference due to its low resolution screen and less running background apps.

if you play games dont buy android samsung tab go for ipad , i have at home tab s4 and its good in sound and display but ... in game it lags ,and ping ms is worse then my pocophone ... dont know why is that , so i have ipad 2018 9.7inch its alot better even with older soc from iphone 7 lol and s4 got sd835 ... only good thing in tab S is for movies ... and music ... and drawing maybe , for this money s6 you can buy top ipad pro ... which will be top speed many years ahead

I see people here eather have never owned a tablet (at least recently) or they're easily fooled by these companies marketing schemes. Before buying a tablet, you must know what you're going to use it for, unless there are people who are still using feature phones and want a tablet that would do the job of a smartphone.
So the way I see it:
If you need a tablet for gaming: The vanilla iPad is the better choice, just don't go for the 32Go variant as you'll regret it later.
If media consumption is your priority: Go for a Samsung tablet, the S4 and S5e are great choices, you don't need to spend 700-1000$ on a tablet just to watch Netflix, it's ridiculous (whatever your choice is, just don't go near a 4:3 screen).
If it's for productivity: let's not fool ourselves here, get a laptop (if the stylus is necessary, go for surface pro).

Anonymous, 21 Jun 2020Stylus support totally eliminates all non-Apple competitors.tablets aren't all about stylus, most of stylus functions can be replaced by a 1$ pen which can wright on literally any touch screens.
before you say anything about bluetooth and other functions i said "Most" as stylus is mostly righting on a screen, after that are just fancy functionallities which don't justify buying the product.

i am not out of my mind, samsung may have amoled but it is just for browsing,light gaming and video,the ipad uses a flagship processor.
thats what i meant. i didn't mean display display quality but meant performance.
