Samsung should provide snapdragon chipset atleast or above 710 for Budget phones,All other "chinese brand" are providing so why can't u samsung you are the No.1 leading Company in the hole world. Exynos 9611 sucks.. Each and every phones you samsum attaches exynos chipset.. IT REALLY SUCKS..

I think Samsung has lot of 9611 processor in stock which is why every single lower midrange phone, they equip that chip. Exynos 9611 sucks. It cant even best the performance of Snapdragon 625 and indeed 9611 is a battery eating puny chip.
Xiaomi phones are deal breaker in midrange segment.

I thought a series is supposed to be midrange while m series is more of a budget series. Although there are numerous a series phones that use 9611 chipset too. Idk wth samsung is thinking lol

Only samsung plastic fan will buy samsung mid range phone nowadays. Dnt know about flagship. Exynos 9611 is equal to Sd660 but samsung sell it at Rs.24000/- or 300$+.

Samsung has lost its head...they think they are being smart by fooling the customers, launching same product with same specs again and again with only minor differences. No wonder Huawei overtook these i*iots.
Another 3 years and this bad strategy, and they will be the next HTC. Even LG is doing a bit better job these days when compared to Samsung.

In 2025, it's going to be the Galaxy M35 or M36 and by that time, it'll have a better low-end chipset powered by Samsung Exynos and AMD GPU. Exynos 9611 is not going to be the new SD625 in terms of being a cancer to the mobile industry 2016 - 2018.

If the chipset and battery is the same and m31 already has 64mp quad camera, how else can they improve on this for m31s? Don't tell me it will have 108mp camera lol.
Imho they should use a better chipset (snapdragon 710 at least) then 7000mah battery and it should sell

Ismail Shiwani, 22 Jun 2020Galaxy M131S in 2025, still Exynos 9611😜I am by no means a fan of the 9611 (poor price-performance ratio, old 10nm process), but you can't really blame them for using it in a relatively cheap mid-ranger.
