Let's not fool ourselves here: the main goal of Apple with this goal is to force user later down the road to use the Mac Store for everything, as it already happens on iPhone/iPad.

F for Mac OS x86. ARM Apps will probably use the same pay-to-use design of mobile ads, including apps and whatnot.

not looking good for intel. AMD has been making gains in PC, intel is virtually non-existent in mobile, and they just lost their flagship partner apple.

I hope game companies add compatibility to ARM processors. Witcher 3 has a MacOS port and so as Dota 2. If ARM is claimed to be the next evolution/superior to x86/x64 architecture, apps like games 40 years from now should work on ARM just fine.
