Will this spatial audio be exclusive to iOS and not for Android devices?
I didn't even get my Airpods to update even tho I put it next to the phone whilst on charge. There should be a manual button to update the Airpods. Not once upon a time magical timing and voila there's the update. Screw that thoroughly.
S IrFaN, 22 Jun 2020I was Very Eagerly Waiting for Airpod Studio Airpod Studio be like True Wireless Over-ear headphones with more than 40mm Neodymium magnets, supports all AptX codecs, LDAC, Bluetooth 5.2, ANC, USB-C charging and most of the good stuff found in the likes of THX Panda headphones at a price of $450 - $600.
In fact, it's going to be like that futuristic wireless over-ear headphones that uses something like suction cups surrounding your ear to keep it in place.
I'm not in the Apple ecosystem but I would hope it would be optional; for example I have Spotify on my computer and my phone and often prefer just to start it on my phone, put it down and then continue using the PC. Alternatively if I were on the computer with something that needed sound and briefly checked things on my phone I wouldn't necessarily want it to jump sound over to that device.
Still, when it is called for it's a pretty slick software implementation!

Spatial audio a "pro" exclusive... Classic Apple, selling software features as a hardware exclusive. Is the sales pitch the same they used for Siri back in the day? "we can't provide Siri for previous models as the server performance requires the newer model"....
