Oneplus Z or Samsung A51 or any of... moreIt's an overrated camera , this phone will propably have the same price as s10 lite which is better in every shape or form apart from the extra years of updates . They hype so much that camera but every other phone who costs 450-500 euros is close to theirs if not better. You can be a victim and buy it and after a year complain about the battery, I won't spend my money on an overpriced product.

I was waiting for the Pixel 4a. After the latest delay, my friend suggested the Galaxy A71. Expandable storage, multiple cameras, and a centered punch-hole selfie camera all for around the same price. So far I'm very happy with the A71. I like many of the Android customizations Samsung made. A71 also gives you more battery with 25w fast charging. Even the cheap earbuds they included sound ok if you tick on Dolby Atmos. The screen is beautiful and has a fingerprint scanner. Surprised it seems to by under the radar.

Pixel 3a XL 3700mAh with one of the longest best battery life, excellent camera and headphone jack, great stereo speakers maybe a better bet than the new Pixel 4a. But when you look at another recently launched mobile which critics drooled over as was Apple (otherwise no more Apple phone to review) and this had 1821mAh battery, yet still it go 4 stars. If it had been any other brand the phone would have been slaughtered. Crazy world. Be like what are the benefits of 5G apart from downloading films? The answer 5G is not for the consumer it is for tech and business but they sell it to us as though it is really for us. Makes up buy more phones when instead we should keep ours minimum 2 years. It's a waste of mineral and resource.

People want cheap , reliable phones to do their job. Its expensive , mediocre and gets murdered by the competition. Oh and its design is hella ugly too.

500?? That will be a fail. There's a lot of phones with Snap 865, Oled screens and good quad cameras around that price already. The pixel only has the camera playing for it.
The SE will continue to have strong sales in the next 1-2 years. It's running wild now and only Oneplus Z will be decent competition for it. A lot of people want a powerful small phone with a decent camera and a top SoC together with iOS updates guaranteed in the next years.

There are only a few "compact" models so for me Pixel 4a is still the best one right now.

Along side the Pixel 5, or whatever is next. Seems odd.
But it's not.
To release it now, it makes no sense any more. Markets are bruised, summer vacations are ruined, people has put a stop on spending, and whoever wanted a summer phone had probably already done so. COVID made them miss the crucial May time frame, so iPhone SE ran wild.
So that probably explains the rumored $350 price point? Being freshly released by end of October, this thing will sell like hot potatos during the holidays... I know I'll get one. And by then, the new iPhone model releases would have made the already 6-months old iPhone SE an undesirable thing.

So it ... moreNo, it's OLED despite the back fingerprint scanner.
Not to get into details, check the Galaxy S10e or Sony Xperia, OLED screens with side finger print scanner.

apprise, 23 Jun 2020I find it crazy how pixel smartphones are probably the most leaked smartphones but yet their s... moreThey might make some good sales in the US where the competition is very poor, but in Europe, I think only those who are looking for a compact phone will consider it, in the rest of the world, most people don't even care. I think cancelling the XL version was a huge mistake, no wide angle and a small 3000mAh battery are going to be a deal breaker to many, not to mention that they don't make up for it with a premium design or water resistance.
