It's not just iOS it's 3rd apps also. Apple always have had design guides for developers so their apps would feel like part of iOS. Everything is connected and it makes very unified experience unlike Android which is big mess, things just quite doesn't fit together. For example OEMs have different Ui so 3rd apps can't offer you seamless experience with your other Ui because there's many different ones.
IOS have the IT factory, but most don't really understand what it is, but is all the small details where Apple put so much effort, Everything combined makes very polished experience which Apple been building since first iOS version.
Android people keep saying how iOS is so closed and you don't really own your device etc. Yes you can't have Everything, iOS is what is because of those rules and been closed. In other Hand you have Android which doesn't have them and it's big mess which getting worse every year and it can't get better without starting from the start because so many things are connected and spread everywhere already and different OEMs have their own way to do things. There isn't anything which glues things together unlike Apple has.

There’s not even a point in denying it. You need to experience both to understand this. I have a note 10+ and I love what I can do with my phone. I do miss using an iPhone . It really just works.
However the level of finesse and attention to detail on iOS is far better and superior compared to android.
I guarantee you don't see an article like this for when Android 11 hits
Daaaamnit, 25 Jun 2020Been using Android for the last 10 years. Changed 4 android phones. It has been LG viewty then... more” Phones have gotten better and can handle the latest softwares. Why on earth are we forced to buy new devices?”
Because Android companies wouldn’t get anything from you keeping their phone for long time. It would be bad business for them. Apple have their ecosystem which making billions for them every quarter, so it’s good business for Apple to offer long support, if you are happy with your experience, you are more likely to buy same brand phone when it’s time.
Android OEMs screw their users every single year. Every year there’s people who are mad because their quite new very expensive phone is already ”obsolete”. But based on high end Android phone sales numbers, more and more people clearly got enough of it and they don’t buy those expensive Android phones anymore like they used to. In other hand Apple high end phones keep selling very well because users know they will pay for years of support.
It doesn't matter how great iMessage is, unless you live in a bubble where everyone you message also uses an iPhone it is limited in its use. In practice whatever platform I use my primary messaging app will have to be one that's available cross-platform, which rules out both iMessage and RCS (though in both cases it's Apple who prevent them being cross-platform).

The iTunes iphone-to-computer syncing software is still one of the worst UX experiences under the sun. It's blitheringly bad. Also hates you working w/ non-apple-sanctioned files, e.g. your own mp3's or videos. Also try to sync a lot of pics w/ some videos in them --- the thing will crash and you have to reboot the iPhone to continue. This is ages old bug.
They can polish their mobile experience all they want, I will minimize my suffering to syncing just my gf's iphone.
And destroying the best laptop keyboard in the business and making it the worst, and adding an anti-touch-typist "touch bar" at the top -- how does a company even do that? Screw Apple.

The only caveat is Windows 10 Home. Microsoft should really give 10 pro as default on pro devices.
Please when i see coments like "apple is more polished" i ask how please. how is it more polished, mostt of you dont use stock android, and then its more polished. On the new ios 14 update the only thing that i can say is a lil bit diffrent is the widget stack. what else?.
The issue of android is the most popular social apps end up being developed specificaly better for ios than on android.
You apple people never accept the truth its sad, infact i blame must editorial posts that d all the hyping

subs, 25 Jun 2020While I love Ipad as they are the only good tablets available now, I will change from Android ... moreHaven't u see the last couple years Android tablets getting stronger big time, with newest Android CPU etc. Samsung and Huawei have big muscles tablets now, so it's not true anymore... IPad it's no longer the only good tablet on the market.
I doubt anyone would care about widgets at this point in time. They just take up the home screen and hog the battery.
I will switch apple for this great UX
Gsmarena hyping up App Library am I the only ine who doesn't care about it? Apps on my phone are all pilled up messily on my homescreen so I rarely have to go to the app drawer and as far as widgets go I only have a weather and RAM cleaner widget on my screen
And I dont think anyone would be holding off their jump to iOS just because it lacked app drawer
