So if this documentary (series?) mean anything, it's that the phone is going to be... More expensive.
0:17 - "(OnePlus was founded) to share the better technology with the world" - this sentence is a bit worrying. OnePlus has never offered "better technology" than its competitors. What OnePlus did, was to offer SIMILAR technology at a much better price. THIS is OnePlus' roots. Not the flamboyant marketing for 1000 usd flagships, not these pretentious documentaries about the phones design. Simple "no BS" phones for a great price, that's the original OnePlus. The fact that they seem to be distancing from this fact kind of hints that the price might not be the 300usd we were expecting...
btw. the scenes with the pixelated phone makes it look like a japanese pornography.

look at current OP device prices.You can't expect a company to not grow.
it's like telling street food vendors to never open a restaurant, keep selling cheap street food because we don't want to pay for expensive food. Eventually they will want to move on from selling cheap food.
There will be other brands that will take over the flagship killer category. I too was disappointed at the Oneplus 8 prices, but I still want to congratulate them on their success.

I do hope they can manage to turn out something good and price it about 750Eu. Otherwise its just not worth it. I really would like to see a flat Amoled screen with 90Hz refresh, 3,5 jack and plastic/metal body. I dont care about wireless charging and would rather have tougher phone instead. But I fear thst it would be just a rebranded oppo or vivo so I really dont get why do they bother to pretend that they put so much work into crossing oppo and writing OnePlus on top of it

Either lo... moreI know that's not gonna happen but it'd have to be revolutionizing like the Oneplus 1. But i know that's not gonna happen and that's why they are exaggerating with the hype.
We already have Redmi K30 Pro for 400 that comes with a snap 865, 4700 battery, fingerprint under display, Glass/metal body, HDR10 etc doubt Oneplus is gonna beat that.

Either lower your expectations, or accept that you'll have to spend more money to get what you want.

That's good and all, but if the price is not aggressive competitve to other similar offerings, all of this will.be in vain, atleast for me. Sure every brand has its fanboys, but for the general consumer, price to performance ratio wins every single time.

Instead of all the frigging drama, just bring the jack back and throw in stereo speakers with large battery and polycarbonate/metal back.

But since the launch of Moto one Fusion plus, I doubt that crown of best mid ranger can be taken by any other. Though, this lite or Nord, whatever they'll keep, will be another super mid ranger for sure.

Price 350 Max. If they come out with this, then the hype is justified else, they are overreacting.
