Android-Master, 27 Jun 2020Haha what other choice you have? Can we get rid of that ugly notch or gas burner design on bac... moreiOs vs android, none is better than the other, it's a matter of personal preference, I'd always go for android but that's my personal business, I'm allergic to closed systems. And you might laugh at the notch right know, but in the future when under display camera sensors are a thing, companies will upgrade their face id to 3D technology (nobody can deny the benefit of having both fingerprint scanner and face id biometrics, most people are using 2d face id alongside the fingerprint even if it's not secure), by then most android major companies except Huawei will be lacking behind in this technology. Bottom line is that yes apple are still apple, but at least they've been making right moves towards the right while android competitors are making all the wrong moves.

Wait, so there is iPhone 12 Max? But anyway, I wonder if there will be a 4G variant of the iPhone 12 Pro. 5G network is still non-existent in my country, so I don't think it's worth it to get the 5G variant.

I think QC should have just skipped 765G and keep 5g for 865 and succeeding cpus.

Anonymous, 27 Jun 2020Yes RAW power. Emptying the battery by 30% to render a 1.5 minute 4k clip clip in kinemaster. First off, let me clarify before any misunderstanding :
I am not pro Apple, I prefer the Android echosystem or at least I am confortable with it and have no real experience with iOS except trying an iPhone for 10 seconds in a shop, so I'm not blindly defending Apple here.

But here, you are comparing a phone (Samsung S20 Ultra) with a 5000mAh battery one (iPhone SE 2020) with a 1821mAh battery, is it is obvious that both won't drain their battery percentage at the same rate.

Also the SE 2020 is probably not at all made for any kind of heavy workload, it isn't because you have a high end chipset that it is meant to use 100% of its power, the same way most peoples won't floor their car even for short period of time.
For example, the only reason I took a OnePlus 6t over a cheaper midranger isn't because I needed the extra power of the SD845 when it was the most powerful SD available (I don't), but only because of how the performance degrading, starting with a more powerful phone, will have a lesser impact over the same period of time on a higher powered phone.
I've seen too many midranger and entry level phone lasting less than 3 years before becoming unusable because of how much they were lagging and freezing, I consider it cost less to jump from a flagship to an other over 3 years minimum than having to change a 1.5 or 2 year midranger because of how bad the experience become.
            But that's just my case...

Looking at tests like this :
            https://www.phonearena.com/news/Apple-iPhone-SE-2020-battery-drain-test-life-capacity-mah_id124402
You can easily see that it work pretty well on more mondain tasks than phone with a significantly larger batteries, it only start to suffer when you use it for more power consuming tasks, meaning that actually the phone have a really good power efficiency on its intended use, with his lower price range it is obviously targeted at more budget users and more casual ones who certainly don't need to do such thing and won't need more performance than what Candy Crush require.

Same result looking at those tests :
            https://www.gsmarena.com/apple_iphone_se_2020-review-2108p3.php
With a 59h endurance rating for the iPhone SE, and this test :
            https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s20_ultra_5g-review-2074p3.php
With a 87h endurance rating for the S20 Ultra.
We can see it have a better web browsing time, which also prove my theory that it is really power efficient when doing tasks that doesn't require much RAW power.
But when/if you need really high RAW power for any reasons, you still have it, that's the nice part here.
Looking at the iPhone 11 with his 3110mAh battery, we can confirm that indeed the same hold true for this more premium phone with the same flagship :
            https://www.gsmarena.com/apple_iphone_11-review-1993p3.php

Give the 2020 SE a 5000mAh battery and it will crush most phones out of the water.

IOS users start celebrating like it's Christmas with very little choice they get similar to prisoners cheering every upgrade in their meals without realizing that there is a buffet of choices for the Android users.

No wonder Android is the OS of choice on smartphones and much superior to iOS.

But with mid-range devices, they could always lower the price and go for the 730G which is not too far behind the 765G, or go last year's 855/855+.
