Nokia was a big giant in this sector!
Samsung could only dream of being Nokia!
But now like around couple of decades, we clearly see where these 2 companies are.
Nokia, was superior even with their Symbian os.
Anything from USA has got a strong Marketing strategy (Apple, Android, Microsoft, Amazon...)
Their cunning marketing campaign has ripped apart a lot of Giants like Nokia.
You may claim Nokia went with Microsoft, but its a whole different story.
Still worse than P40 pro.
Why so many fuss around???
If they cant beat Mark III by Cannon or Hubble telescope camera capabilities its not interested no matter how many megapixels they add,

But unlucky EU/Asia Regions gonna get Crappynos Variant at same price value of the superior Snapdragon Variant with trash performance.

"Notorious" for having subpar image proccesing? Yes, until 2019-2020. That's where the ISP of that manufacturer's phones greatly improved and started beating samsung galaxy phones. Just look at the camera comparisons!
Ugly talllllll looooong 19.9 screen.
Bring back 16.9 or 18.6.
TSi Power, 27 Jun 2020Huawei & Oppo can still go without binning since they have larger pixel pitchArguing for a sub spec to win is classic non-arguing.
Which sensor has the largest area? Which sensor is better at accurately weed out flawed sub pixels?
Evolution is leaving you behind. In a few years, we will probably see sensors with up towards half a billion sub pixels. Because the maths works and it's simple. In fact, it is so brilliant even mirrorless camera manufacturers are looking into this, even though they're often hand picking sensors to weed out those with flaws. It just works better because there is no factory in the world able to produce identical, flawless sensors in the millions.

Despite being regular Bayer sensor, S20U fails to capture as good images as compared to Find X2 pro Ultrawide which has Quad Bayer 48mp.

TSi Power, 27 Jun 2020far more detail with far more noise!I'll rather have some noise with more details than (clean looking) noise free images which lack details like on the Huawei p40 pro when zoomed in.

Afcourse I meant pixel binned 12Mp images there.

You're agreeing with what Samsung does but you're a hater. I get it.
In another note, that third brand will be using pixel binning within a year. Why? Because they also have scientist who are seeing the obvious advantages of splitting data collection across multiple sensors when you mass procure millions of devices a year.
If you don't belive in science as a tech company, you're losing in the long run.
