Anonymous, 28 Jun 2020Switch? Are you kidding me? It is miles behind. Android for life. But why?!!
As a consumer why would you side a product for life?
I'm up for whichever is best for me at a given time and situation, I don't pledge my allegiance to any.
Anonymous, 28 Jun 2020Notch cannot be avoided because of facial recognition.mhm, have you seen the notch of p40 pro compared to iphone? And they could have made it even smaller if they would that got rid of the depth camera,
Yo, I'm getting "Captcha verification failed" message when i try to vote. But no captcha is loading.
They will never reach the quality, value, or features to make the switch worth it.

And it's not more simple. Most extra things can be ignored on android. People get overwhelmed just by the option of options. Even if the same task is pretty simple on both. And the settings menu was less clear though it's getting better.
The quality apps thing is bogus. Only a few are actually better. But some things are better on android and many are similar. Yeah ios gets some sooner. Kudos.
You have to spend a lot more and have lots of apple products to get that "ecosystem". And if you are getting that many things and an ecosystem then it's great on others too. Just better on ios. But not BETTER!
why make the switch when most features of iOS 14 (and even better ones which ios doesn't have) are already in Android and that too at a significanly less (almost half) the price of a latest iPhone?

How? It took so much time for SwiftKey (hands down the best keyboard) to come on iOS.
Now iOS users will discredit SwiftKey by saying, they don't care or use it.
I can't live without ViPER4Android and Dolby Atmos so I'll never switch to iOS...
Bogdan, 28 Jun 2020IOS 13 made me switch.
And also the continuous bad experiences with Android phones. Every IPhone I ever owned, I sold it for Android equivalent.
IOS is akin to a terrible claustrophobic environment for consumers.

Yeah, still not going to switch. I like how Android works, personally a better fit.
Anonymous, 28 Jun 2020Notch cannot be avoided because of facial recognition. It could be with a slim bezel. I prefer that to notches and punch holes.
It's a worthy upgrade, but I don't have to switch, because I use both already. I like the overall look and feel of Android a bit more, though. Functionally, though, it's a wash.

See how well it's working? If Apple would have kept headphone jack, people haven't find out how fun and effortless is to use wireless headphones. Apple did a big favor for whole headphone markets, it's not just AirPods, wireless headphone sales are booming, because it's the future and Apple and others had to give the market a push and get people try them.
Of course there's always going to be small but loud crowd who is against every changes just like always, but These things happen for big crowd, nothing can ever chance if companies listen this small loud crowd.
I have both iOS and Android devices. iPhone 11 Pro Max for a big phone and an Xperia 5 for a smaller device :)
