This is just a rumour remember that smartphone manufacturer have to to ensure battery safety .
A aftermarket or an incompatible charger will make the smartphone next Samsung galaxy S7

I have an A50 and my brother has a P40 Lite (which costed less than mine) and his 40W charger is blazing fast, 70% in 30 minutes (I get 30% in 30 mins)
Need me a better one than the 15W
PartTimePhoner, 29 Jun 2020By buying it seperately or using the old oneWhy should I buy it separately when it should be included in the box? I'm not going to use an old 5 watt charger to charge a 4,000 mah battery.
Anonymous, 29 Jun 2020Is this really a valid complaint? I honestly don't need yet another charger so happy to have a... moreI have the feeling that they'll find a way make you buy the extra charger. Like they manage to do with all dongles and peripherals. Especially that the lightning port as been milked way beyond imagination.

Wily2020, 29 Jun 2020If Apple can sell their upcoming 5G iPhone with a price of last year model, i can bet Android ... moreThey won't. You should expect higher prices next year snapdragon 875 will cost 250$ (sd865 ccosts 150$)
Wily2020, 29 Jun 2020This move Android OEMs won't like, their prices are getting really high thanks to 5G. And now ... moreThis is not entirely true. Currently, there are excellent 5G android based phones for as low as 400€, and I'm not talking about budget phones. The Xiaomi Redmi 10X 5G would be available for much less. Again, this is now and not in a four-month time.
The difference between the Huawei P40 lite and its 5G model is around 100€. And it's not only 5G, the body, processor and other improvements are included in the 5G model. I would say the same applies to other brands like Samsung (A51, A71) and Xiaomi, etc.. So this saving "excuse" in the name 5G is not the entire story.
Apple users will anyhow cheer whatever the company throws at them and will go on defending the company tactics (example: iPhone SE2 despite its outdated design and subpar battery). This being said, Android OEMs will follow in the foot steps of Apple and will water down their products in an attempt to scrap some more profit.
Another way to look at this is, if Apple prices iPhone 12 a little lower (i.e. instead of pro model being $999, lowering it to $949 or something), and making "accessories" optional purchase, it will be a win to both customers and Apple, even for the environment as well. However, I believe lower price of the phone will be very unlikely.
sohail shafayat, 29 Jun 2020Have you tried the Surface Books?Surface Books underperform, I suggest checking NotebookCheck for that. I would rather pick a Dell XPS 13/15 if I have to stick to Windows. I tried it and build quality and feel is still better than Craprosoft's junk. HP's Spectre and Envy are also great but only if you spec the 4K display option. Performance does not dissapoint.

Only makes sense if Apple can switch to USB-C and not increase the price, which would be embarassing. Better not bundle with rubbish 5W charger next time. I hope the iPhone 12 costs the same or less if so. Removing EarPods are a rather bad move to be honest.
Honestly,folks...This is getting UTTERLY DISGUSTING...They just want to skin their customers.Don't give you even a charging brick, for your money...Their prices are THROUGH THE ROOF,and still, they force you to buy the minimal accessories, too, separately, just to spend more money for them...Honestly,you should stop buying APPLE products...
MagicMonkeyBoy, 29 Jun 2020Apple... Sooo innovative... 20watt charging... Way better than Android :-)
What's next? No... moreBetter than some Chinese phones, especially cheap ones, have multiple issues after a short term use. I've heard multiple Redmi Note 9 Pro users complaining about dust entering the cameras, then a realme XT battery explosion from an Indian 24 hours prior to purchase, then a C3 owned by a Malaysian exploded as well.
Personally I prefer Samsung's quality control but it's the chipset and surprisingly decent camera performance that puts me off.
We'll see what happens to those nubia users. Won't last long if you play in front of a cigarette.
Anonymous, 29 Jun 2020...and we have a choice to buy or not. I don't get what arguement you are trying to get. The i... moreWell, how many do you even own anyway? You have thousands of them because you buy new phones every month? Oh how great! How I wish I also have the same privilege as you do!
Perhaps I can simply keep my old charging bricks away for other products that I may use in the future and would work with USB chargers, such as acting as a charger for my power bank or as a plug for my other electronic accessories.
Besides, it's highly recommended that we use the original charger from the box of our phones for the best longevity of our devices, so using your old charging brick for your new phone is essentially the same as using a third party one, even if it came from exactly the same brand.
Well I guess you're that rich of a person that you don't intend to keep your phone for a year before replacing it with a new one, but such move clearly only favors the likes of people that you are, and are against the less privileged ones that could only afford such an expensive product for once in their lifetime.
And yes, it does affect me so much, because Apple is a big influencer to the smartphone world, and everything they do, others will follow suit for the sake of being in the trend, just as when they removed the jack, added fingerprint and facial scanner, made an obnoxious notch, and even down to the pricing of the products themselves.
If we keep on supporting this anti-consumer move, then definitely it won't be long before smartphones finally turn into luxurious products that only a few with enough money will be able to have. But hey, you're privileged, right? So you don't care anyway, I understand.
