as long as they're so fragile and pricey I'd rather spend my money on a pixel 4a and an ipad air.

So, a mid-range foldable device should be possible at ~400 euros. Besides, AMOLED screens are getting cheaper and cheaper.

The rendered image is of upcoming Fold 2, Iceuniverse clearly stated it. Why are you rendering it for Fold Lite?

It'll be a long while until you'll be able to buy budget phones with folding glass. Budget phones generally use LCD and LCD isn't really suited for the whole folding idea. :D

I meant to say that they should make mid-range foldable devices. Of course you can't sell such a phablet for 400 euros, when it has flagship components inside.

The idea is to make foldable devices affordable (AFFOLDABLE, lolz), with mid-rage SoCs, lower quality cameras, etc.

Anonymous, 29 Jun 2020Why didn't they put the punch hole in the corner? It's due to the rear camera placement. The corner is housing the rear facing camera, and since they have all the hinge components on the middle side, their only option I guess was either the other corner or slightly askew.

If they'd give you a free car and a mansion along with it, you'd probably still complain that there are other types of cars on the market.

Still expensive. When they will bring the price down to ~400 euros, they'll have a massive success, in my opinion.

Excellent job conditioning the masses into that $1000-bracket.
