[deleted post]I am using ROG 2 as my daily driver which is running Snapdragon SOC.
I didn't upgrade to S20 series COZ of unnecessary high price and lackluster Exynos performance compared to its Snapdragon counterparts.
I don't tr*ll every comment section on how bad the Exynos 990 is like you do.
Go get a life.
Exynos running S10 is sitting at home only being used on certain occasions.
I didn't switch to ROG 2 coz of Exynos chip but for variety of other reasons.
And my S10 also doesn't overheat or anything. But I am also using rooted custom tweaked version of one ui 2.1.
MATE 30 PRO, 29 Jun 2020Will record 4K videos at up to 240 fps ... but without charges and earphones !!!! And when ... morewith a charger lmao, do you have a brain or something? the people who would have bought this probably had an iphone and a lightning charger previously
No 8k video recording even though the processor supports it.
No 960fps super slow motion recording even though processor supports it.
But then again what can you expect from handicapped ecosystem of iOS?
I bet it will be a short burst of frames just like the super slow mo on recent Android flagships, because I mean, what kind of sensor has a readout speed that is fast enough to scan through 8 million pixels 240 times per second continuously? Even if Apple managed to develop such a ridiculously fast sensor, how would ISP be able to handle this amount of data throughput? That's a pure absurdity.
All of you are talking 8k. You don’t even own a display that can render 8k. So just shut up!
Anonymous, 29 Jun 2020If no 8K android will win again. What's 8K res even for? Most displays are up to 4K only. 8K is obsolette at the moment, only few gaming monitors and TVs have 8K and they cost a lot.
Anonymous, 29 Jun 2020If no 8K android will win again.lol fanboy logic don’t need i8k It’s biggest waste for bandwidth
Will record 4K videos at up to 240 fps ... but without charges and earphones !!!!
And when you drain the battery from recording videos at 240 fps, what are you going to charge it with?
TheLastOracle, 29 Jun 2020Interesting feature. Which means that Apple has chosen a MUCH BETTER new sensor. I am also gue... moreApple is not going to use more than 12MP. Probably 1/1.7" like S20+/1 ii ...
You need at least 33MP in 16:9 ratio for 8K.
Being able to do 4K@120/240 has nothing to do with 8K.
That would be a great feature foe that 64/32gb internal. come on apple
Interesting feature. Which means that Apple has chosen a MUCH BETTER new sensor. I am also guessing that the 4k is going to be Even Better than it is now, and we should see noticeable improvements in Dynamic Range too (hopefully finally as good as some cinema cameras). Also, 8k should be easily possible if it can do 4k at 240fps and 120fps. 8k is 4 times the resolution if 4k. Plus, hopefully Apple is generous enough to offer either ProRes or some other flavour of 10-bit video.
Hopefully Apple engineers are smart enough to have 8k converted into 4k in-camera, with way better detail, much lesser noise and better overall image too.
Love the Community, 29 Jun 2020Removing the headphone jack is the ultimate injustice in the tech world. I'll never forgive th... moreCompletely agree, has repelled me from iPhones and android alike without one. I get that they want the extra space in the phone but it's just such a waste of electronics to have to throw out my wired ones just because of that.
So they could do 8K60. 8K looks great anyway, so are stills in higher res, not anyone can bring that though.
Anonymous, 29 Jun 2020Will Low Light Video in 4k 120fps be as good or better than iphone 11 pro low light video? There is no such thing as good low light video unless you are strictly using it on small screens.
I don't think that Apple would drastically differentiate the 2020 line up in camera section. Pros may get 3x or 5x zoom lenses but I believe Apple would still serve a 2x mode for better portrait shots by cropping the center of the image from the zoom lens and extending the frame with the wide lense's image (just a thought).
With that in mind, I believe 12 and 12+ will be equipped with last generation 2x optical zoom lens.
In the end, Pros may have one extra: LiDAR.
Anyway, it'll be clear once developers dig into iOS 14 codes.
