kid, 14 Sep 2020Doesn't the Mi 10 Ultra already support 120W charging with the 865? I'm confusedMi 10 Ultra has 2 separate batteries that charges at 60W, combine their charging speeds together and you get 120W.

I'm thinking of buying the next gen Apple iphone SE which will be running at about +70% single core speed compared to snapdragon 865+ instead.
Qualcomm actually makes Apple Iphone SE seem like a pretty good upper mid grade/lower highend value option nowadays.
Otherwise, MTK Dimensity series already offers good value higher tier android SoCs, then Huawei SoCs, etc.
People have to stop buying Qualcomm and encouraging them to sell us +30% improvements for +80% cost from generation to generation!
Android-Master, 01 Jul 2020Huawei Kirin 1050 will be most efficient. 875 best prossesar clock speed slow 3.1 and 5nm very good 560 clock speed and high 2021 Snapdragon processor any fast 5 g mobile very low plz clock speed high 4.8 ghz. Rareart1, 01 Jul 2020Whose 1st 5nm SoC will be more battery efficient, do you think: Apple's or Qualcomm's?Apple hands down
Rumors about snapdragon first said there will not be any launch of a 865 plus version.. Its obvious they will do the launch in Asus Rog phone 3. It was supposed to be an over clocked version of 865 not to be called as 865+. Not much right here...
SD865+ : Waiting in the corner. Been ready/hungry for about 6 month.
Asus : Waves with the biggest stack of cash. Wins the race.
Samsung : EU brainwash campain Exynos will rule the world...

All we need now is for solid state batteries to become mainstream. They are more durable, cheaper, slimmer, produce less heat, and charge rapidly without needing tricks from external sources. They are also safer, expect them to be used in electric vehicles and drones.
5nm SoC will greatly improve battery life, same goes for Apple's A14 chip which will feature in the iPhone 12. Assuming of course, you don't do crazy things like 5G connectivity on all the time, 120Hz always-on display etc.
Funny Oukitel K10 000 is a phone from 2015 and had 10 000 mAh and was no gaming phone with just 2GB ram.

Qualcomm SoC is more advanced technology and more stuff inside. Does Ryzen have modem? how much power it consumes? its a desktop component, you cannot compare it with anything in mobile world.
ok, my bad, it supports 5th gen of RAM, its not part of the SoC.
Blackk Mamba , 01 Jul 2020Why would I say headphone jack is outdated?

Duh! So you think pushing high amounts of watts into the battery is technology.
Ali Bashir, 30 Jun 2020Let me guess, some brand fanboy? how about headphone jack it is too old, is it outdated? Why would I say headphone jack is outdated?
But Sony is indeed behind the curve when it comes to fast charging technology. (FACTS)
