I see lot of people complaining about why not ban Chinese smartphone?Because they are manufacturing in India or say "assemble" which is creating job and bringing more international brands, because of these Chinese smartphone Factory other international company start building their own factories in India like Samsung which build the world biggest smartphone factory,Foxconn also trying to build another factory. Why ban Chinese app and not American because American government don't interfere with their company just for an example you cannot upload anything related to Tiber(country occupied by China)or raise your opinion about anything against china. There's article where a Chinese student in Australia was in protest against China and because he use some Chinese app, government tracked his home in China and warn his parents to control him in Austraila.Yes American company do exploit privacy but it is not as same level as in China for their government uses. Also right now India is developing country they cannot target China and USA same time where USA is supporting India from long time and invested heavily and planned to do more investment in future.

Anonymous, 30 Jun 2020So then the world should stop Google apps and any other American smart products too. People keep forgetting that Facebook is litterly listening whenever you are in their application so they can sell your data to advertisers.

But it's American company so it's fine

TheLastOracle, 30 Jun 2020Good decision. All countries in the south china sea and one road one belt route should do the same. No they shouldn't lmao.

Also using this logic they should ban a lot more apps, like Facebook, it's easy to see why they are doing it, it's not because of privacy, but politics

And on implementation of the ban, the idea is simple: get the main application stores aka apple and play store to remove the apps from the country. This will significantly reduce the number of downloads and use. And with 'possible' legal action, the normal folks would also likely be happy using an alternative. For some of the apps this has already been done.

The adventurous can always use VPNs, sideload apps, fake location, etc. A few thousands for a population of millions. A statistically insignificant number considering the economic and social impact of the ban.

Anonymous, 30 Jun 2020How is that better?1. With Windows, FB, Twitter one is already under US radar.
                      2. India doesn't share border with India
                      3. US doesn't go around occupying other countries' territories.
                      4. There is no other alternative

But Indians in general are strange. They type boycott Chinese goods on a Xiomi Oppo OnePlus etc.

Why Mobile Legends? Moonton is a "small indie company" whom Tencent hates. Riot/Tencent won the case but I don't think it killed Moonton, it did nothing but money loss after that. If ever, Arena of Valor should be sacked.
