JDK, 01 Jul 2020Personally, 5G is not a must have right now since the coverage is so limmited. 855+ should ... more855 will make the phone expensive, plus they are probably intending to keep only a mid range processor in a mid range phone, plus SD 765G is fast enough to keep things interesting. Mediatek doesn't have a stellar reputation, OnePlus know they won't sell as much if they use their processor instead of Snapdragon.

So, the "lite" version of the oneplus 8 comes with 12 GB Ram and 5g, also quad cams and a screen of 6,55"....wtf is wrong with this world. I wish to spend 500€ on a 765 with 4g, dual cam, 8GB Ram and a 90hz screen of 5,5" max....seems impossible

Oneplus uses Oppo fast charging, Oppo pay and Oppo's Breeno voice assistant (in China) for example. Vivo is separate with their own technology and designs so OP phones are not very similar to Vivo ones

They may as well just sell the 7t for a bit cheaper rather than releasing more or less the same phone again. A new 855+ model is unlikely to be better in any way than the 7t.
