Nick.B, 30 Jun 2020Or nothing to show off :) Huawei passed them. Next are other chinese brands :)Everyone acts like Huawei got hit by 2 things Corona and the US ban, no they didnt. They were the 1st hit when the virus hit and bounced back faster than anyone which helped them overtake Samsung in Sales for 2 months, this last month they just about beat Samsung because the sales in US went back to normal nearly meaning next month Samsung should be on top again. Samsung sales from Corona were affected more than Huawei.

Huawei is affected by the US ban only and they have their Chinese fans/users to keep buying their devices to counter the drop in sales from other european countries and the US. So far has been doing them well so really you could say Huawei is the least affected overall.

It has nothing to do with virus, safety concerns or any other nonsense, it is purely based on cutting costs.

Once the key market of Samsung which is the rest of the world recover, maybe they regain the top spot immediately.

Chinese brands always focus on large details like spec sheets, while they forgo small details like vibration motor, speakers, screen brightness, colour tuning, HDR, video quality and software (except oneplus)
