But as we know WhatsApp will never store any messages and other data on the servers. All the messages are stored in the phone's memory. But Telegram store the messages on their severs, so you can access your chats from any device, anywhere.
So in this case if you want an application for personal messaging, WhatsApp is much better and secure.
But Telegram provides some features that you can't ignore. I don't know where you live but in my country people use WhatsApp for their personal messaging with friends and family and use Telegram for their daily news and business (because of Telegram channels and groups and its great desktop application).

make it cross-platform, please. so when I change my iPhone to android or vice-versa, i don't lost the chat history.

Facebook can't even provide proper dark mode to WhatsApp. What they have in Android version is Dark Green and not Black. Telegram and Twitter have two options for dark mode, Dark Blue and proper Black. Why Facebook can't provide such simple thing in their app?

animated stickers have been on wechat for years now
n video moments can b posted n last 4 a life time also

whatsapp is way behind wechat for years n years man
n it looks like they will be left further behind from now
