You need special lightning connector for OTG not the standard one that works with any phone.
100$ for that sh*t when you can buy cheap 5-10$ for Android.
Even 1$ OTG cables work perfectly with Android.

As for transferring files, there are lightning to USB adapters where you can plug in any USB flash drive. Heck, there are flash drives with lightning built in. The latest iPad Pros have builtin USB-C port.
Just admit it that you're wrong and are outdated on your knowledge. Oh, that's right, you might not have internet. So I can understand your lack of up to date knowledge of tech since you're only in the forest shooting 4k for nothing.

Like I could be in the forest for camping and take all the 4k videos I want, transfer it to a PD or external HDD all the while freeing up space on my phone for recording more content.
Can you do that easily on your iOS?

Ability to transfer files locally through PD or HDD is much superior to some WiFi connection that might or might not exist.

I can transfer files wirelessly from any browser to my iPhone without internet connection. Apps like VLC creates a local server on the iPhone, and accessible from any computer in the same network.

Stop it with the "customization" battle. People are customizing their phones to what? Look like some high school project using themes and icons? Face it, even people who use Android don't maximize the true capability of their phones. Samsung Dex for example. What a failure. At least iOS gives us good experience and a GUI that looks finished.

I had a terrible experience just trying to transfer a couple of videos from my laptop to my iPad. A simple drag and drop is far more easier. Although i got used to i-tunes eventually

What it tells about OS If i... moreShouldn't third party app developers find it easy to optimize their apps on iOS since the amount of devices are a handful versus Android which has 1000 different models with different hardware?
If some of the most popular apps are crashing way more often compared to that on Android, then this tells you that the iOS ecosystem is simply not good enough compared to Android for app developers as well as the end users.
