It's official now. 5G's official release is sometime around February 2020. Whatever it is, it'll be improved as time goes on. LTE has been released for 8 years and counting, and we should give the same or longer amount of time as 5G/NR. I bet you said the same thing about 4G/LTE when it first started until LTE-A/4GX fixed all the issues.
5G will be fine. Who knows, in two or three more years where 5G is getting standardized, flagship phones will be cheaper.

If Poco had cut those down like the F1, the cost would have been $349 - $399,not £499.
Also,855+ is fine, is is half the price of the 865 whole set but 85% of the performance.

don't see needing a 5,000 mah battery on this device. The numbers will likely be fine.

Only God and Google know why they have to use weak batteries yet even $100 phones come with better capacities. To add insult to injury the phone is manufactured in China, just like iphones and end up costing an arm and a leg! Google owns android and should set standards like they used to do with the nexus series.

Pocophone F1 didn't help bringing profits for Xiaomi and they will not do it again. With the SD865 costing over $100, there's no way they'll release a 5G included flagship for $300 - $400. Times had changed. Inflations happened twice since the day Flagships cost $350 at minimum. Who knows, flagships that costed like $400 would've costed $1000 when Inflations are taken accounted for.
