imo, the reason why W910 was voted best handset award was because it's simple, easier to use than any of the competitor's representative. compared to Viewty W910 has a classic feeling an usage and it's more convinent to type with a hardware keys than touchscreen with haptic esp. when multitap is concerned. W910 outperforms 6500 classic simple because it's more functional and besides it really justifies the features intended for a best handset in the sense like large screen real estate and nice battery. but i dont know the reason on G600 but i can only say that W910 has more simplified and powerful UI to compensate for better usage. anyway those are just MO :)

i reli dont like fan boys - especially nokia fan boys. i dunno maybe nokia paid them to be that protective to nokia. they treat nokia like their girlfriends. :( or maybe they dont have gfs..
anyway, i think this handset deserves it. because the best phone has to be an all-rounder phone.
not a phone that is good in one thing but not in the other.

yeah i knew this phone would be top from the very first time i lay my eyes on it. SE w910i deserves this award as an all rounder it is an easy to use, not over complicated, great design, functionality is good for the size factor, could of at least put in a flash though...... overall an excellent phone! plus its quite cheap on a contract.

if we looking back the former best phones award from GSM Association,
their version of best phone is not always the best phone in real life / everyday use.
so, don't panic, it's just a marketing gimmick.

I think all the people who are whinging a Nokia should have won the competition, I think you need to break out of your comfort zone for a while. I have the w910 and work within the industry, and have full access to handsets from all manufacturers. The W910 I would have to say is the best phone that I have had yet, but it does come down to what you intend on using the phone for. Brilliant battery life for a phone with such a large display, easy to use MP3, however the camera with no flash or light sucks at night when you're out with friends.

Gosh, are you high on something or what? It's only a moderate phone which won a GSM award dear, not a nobel price. Have you yourself ever achieve something in your life? Ever? Tsk tsk. I'm sure that W910 basically is a good phone, and may get an award from whoever it is. Just stop exagerrating and start to achieve something yourself..
