They are brighter and better in many cases but one most important the oled screens set to full brightness for too long and your screen will be forever like having a burned map inside.
Thus in long term use an cheaper LCD is much better option in my honest opinion.

LG Superfan, 07 Jul 2020IMO they should remove Z from their naming Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Flip sounds betterNo, that would make too much sense and Samsung is all about nonsense.

          Which represent phone screen durability.
Or Zero like nothing. Nothing particular and special to see.

            Others copied it to.
            Like Huawei's Mate, Xiaomi's Mi, Oppo's Find.

              I'm not saying otherwise.
I was just indicating what Samsung is used to do.

That doesn't mean things can't change. The Galaxy brand is redundant by the fact they don't sell Windows or Tizen phones any longer. The Tizen brand is in fact also called Galaxy these days, which just makes the Galaxy brand a brand for the sake of the brand.

I still think cleaning their whole naming hierarchy up would make things less confusing and models easier to remember.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G. They're bad names, too long for the average Joe to remember.
Samsung Fold 2, Samsung S20 Ultra. Isn't that a lot cleaner and easier to identify?

What is the relationship of 3 stars to Optimus? At least Galaxy consist of stars. Start learning the true purpose of Branding.🙂

Galaxy means Android. Without the name it feel like a different OS.

And Samsung generally uses any single Alphabet for same type of Phones.
So using Z for both type isn't a Samsung approach.

I'm not saying This can't happen at all. I'm saying it's highly unlikely.
This rumor might be wrong just like the Leaked(by Samsung Ukraine) Image of Note 20 ultra is wrong.

I'd personally prefer if they dropped they Galaxy part of the name. I mean, they're almost exclusively making Android devices these days, so the differentiator isn't necessary any more. They'd even be able to remove the Z label on the folding and flipping phones.
Samsung Flip 2 rolls off the tongue a bit better than the current name, I think.
