Sony is literally losing to historically proven worst Exynos SoC ever.
How's that a good thing ?

H.S. Power Control means bypassing the battery to the game power consumption itself?
Neat feature

And while i can charge my battery when it's needed, you can't charge your screen, your camera, and most importantly, your user experience. I guess that's why all of you come to articles about Sony, right? To try to convince yourself that your phone is better, because it have 10% better battery life, while everything else is worse. Right?

This is poor battery life by my standards. Anything less than 100 in GSMArena testing is not good enough. Overall, by reading specs and review I'd say that this is just solid phone, yet very overpriced.
Engadget:
Sony told them that shortly after July 24 (the day 1 II released in the states), a first major camera firmware updates will be released. What user can expect; better battery life tweaks, improved camera performances and RAW photos in PhotoPro app.
Battery tweaks, RAW and cam improvents on July 24.

Both can be given together in screen settings through software.
4k@60hz or 2k@120hz.
Let the users decide.
No wonder nobody wants to use Sony.
No wonder other brands are preferred.

Im not arguing which is better. Just simply that you get sacrifice either way.

6.5 inches is pretty much standard in 2020 for flagships.
Isn't this similar results to the samsung flagships this year? Im not saying thats a good bar by any standard.

That's the choice you already don't have.
Keep using inferior 60hz.
Some people are comfortable with operating screen at downgraded 60hz in 2020.
I am not one of them.
Android.Master, 13 Jul 2020True 5000mAh should be standard on 2020 flagships. or they could put smaller screen in it, and 3000 should be more than enough. bigger the battery heavier the device.
I have a Xperia 5 and has an excellent battery performance. for the 1 II 83h rating is good.

Android.Master, 13 Jul 2020But the sales show an almost dead figure. That is true. But it's still funny how populated these Sony article comment sections get. You don't get the same for LG or HTC articles.

No wonder the camera sucks in Auto mode compared to other flagships.
Sony thinks photographers are going to drop their Dslr and shoot with Xperia 1 II. Lol
